American Social - Tampa

Went for my daughter's 17th birthday. It was a vibrant and loud crowd. Not overwhelmingly loud, but had to speak loudly to hear each other. Food was good, and priced well. Service was OK, we had a party of 8 so gratuity was already included in the bill. Would return, but definitely request to sit outside a much better atmosphere in my opinion.

We had a very large table during the Patriots/Bucs weekend and everything was great. Such a fun spot to hang and eat with friends and family.

Made a reservation and had to wait a half hour to be seated at a table that was separate from the whole restaurant, like in some back corner. Politely asked if we could sit somewhere else and they said that was it. So no, we left. Atmosphere was total bar food and pretty gross overall.

The restaurant is in a beautiful location with a spectacular view. Parking is convenient for the area and the space if really pretty and comfortable. The service was excellent and prices are competitive. The menu offers lots of options for wide range of interests and taste. Highly recommend!

Service was great once they assigned a server to our table. We had to inquire with a manager as we sat for some time with no one approaching our table. The food order turn around was quick for as busy as they seemed to be. The food was hot and delicious. It was very loud but expected. Overall a great place, great food and we would definitely return.

Here for a concert. Walked over for late night bite. Great location. High energy. Tampa does it right.

Food was average at best. Bar service was below average. Our server was quite pleasant and tried her best. The worst part was all the birds walking and eating off tables.

First time there. Everything was great, although I was expecting a higher end menu. The food was very good but was typical bar food. Server was fantastic! Great place to grab a bite and watch a game! Definitely worth a visit when you're in Tampa!

They system they use for seating is not working. There were many many tables open, but we were told those tables were for reservations and that it ras bar seating only. Come to find out you can go on open table and make a same day reservation 5 mins in advance. Why not just seat the people who are actually there person when you clearly aren't booked with reservations. They also have a two hour time limit for you to be there. Overall not a welcoming environment where they encourage you to spend money.

The server seems to be off Ana didn't know how to answer most of your questions about the menu.

We had a wonderful brunch there on a Saturday morning. The service was outstanding and the food was delish..

We had a party of 10, outside with a perfect sunset. It was a nice evening and even with some demanding kiddos, the service was top notch. I'm kind of a regular here and there is a reason for it, great food and location. Well done.

Hosted our Reader Meetup at American Social! Such a popular place, beautiful views, awesome staff! The guests loved the food selections. We will definitely book an event at this location again!
