The chicken I ordered was baked in the oven instead of barbequed on a grill and was sized like a kids meal. The beans were not baked beans, they were pork and beans which is incredibly misleading for non meat eaters. The potato salad tasted store bought with no eggs or seasonings. I went around 6pm on a Friday and they were all out of collard greens. This restaurant has been here since my father was a lite boy and I will literally never go back - it was terrible.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ First time and when I tell you, we felt welcomed as soon as we walked through the door♥️.AnyWho, let’s get to this meal we had so my husband decided to get the sausage, potato salad and coleslaw and I got the thin end ribs 😋potato salad and mac & cheese and when I tell you, it was delicious delicious delicious now that’s what I’m talking about when it comes to barbecue I’ll give y’all a 10 out of 10 and I will be back. I highly recommend y’all try them out.

I was looking for pork ribs but when I came home, I saw that I received beef ribs..3 rib bones for $11/$12...not what I'm used to getting from there...3 sandwiches $27 for 9 bones...I prefer pork ribs...love the sauce.

After finishing a meeting at COhatch, we noticed Bar-B-Que King right next door and decided to give it a try. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with a warm, genuine smile that immediately made us feel at home. The staff patiently explained the menu, even celebrating with us when they found out it was our first visit. It truly felt like we were among friends and family.
Another young lady went above and beyond to make sure our experience was unforgettable, and she did it with such kindness that it really stood out.
Now, the food, wow. Simply outstanding! The chicken was seasoned to perfection, the potato salad was fresh and flavorful, and the ribs were tender and delicious. Every bite reminded us why local gems like this are worth supporting.
This is more than just a place to eat, it’s a place to enjoy good food with even better people. If you’re in Tampa, Bar-B-Que King is a must-visit. We will definitely be back soon for more mouthwatering BBQ and the wonderful hospitality!
