Great dining experience, great customer service. We had Will as our server and was very respectful and knowledgeable of the menu. Loved the themed disco bathroom and the atmosphere. This place definitely a must place to eat. All food was delicious and good portion size. You will need to make reservations.Hostess Bailey was very friendly and made sure our din I no was a pleasure.
Recommended dishes: Steak Frites, Onion Soup, Charcuterie
Cool vibe but doesn’t meet the hype! Onion soup was delicious but not hot! Tartare was large chunks even though asked for fine chopped. Steak Frites was delicious, fries were crisp and delicious. DIDNT ALLOW USE TO BRING GREAT BORDEAUX’S NOT ON THEIR LIST FOR A CORKAGE FEE. ONLY FINE DINING RESTAURANT IN Tampa. Lover $1000 for Monday night dinner.

Food was fantastic! Great intimate restaurant with a good vibe, but you can still have a conversation without yelling. Service is fantastic too.
Not a lot of choices on the menu, but the choices are fantastic. When you prepare food this well, I'd rather have only a few choices.

I had a reservation and thought it was at a table but they said it was for the bar which at first I didn’t think I’d want to sit at the bar however I did enjoy my experience. Good service and amazing food. Place was dim and did have a festive Christmas feel. I would come back. Servers were great at the bar. The baguette was really good as well as the French onion soup and steak frites.

The food was mediocre for the price point. Quality ingredients but bland or oversalted. We had the baguette, onion soup, escargot, foie gras, beef bourguignon and duck.
The onion soup was one of the worst I've had at a restaurant of this caliber - the broth was lacking the richness I expected - it was basically water. The escargot, foie gras and beef were good but lacking in flavor for the price. The duck was massively oversalted. My companion and I both got cocktails and they really just didn't taste good. The baguette was the only thing I'd order again.
On a good note, the service, decor and ambiance were great.
If the food and drinks had cost 30-50% less I would be happy with the experience here. But the kitchen really needs to deliver more at the $100+ per person price range.

The culinary experience, service, and ambiance were all outstanding. From the moment we walked in & were greeted by host to after dinner where the disco-themed bathroom was a fun surprise. Best onion soup I have had! A customer sitting next to us said they have been to Frabce many times & it tasted just like their cuisine. Can't wait to go back!
Solid meal at a fair price for a higher end restaurant. Great service. Hard to find from the road.

First time at Bar Terroir with my family and we loved it! Happy to get a nice French bistro in Tampa. Impressive cocktail and wine list. We started with the baguette and delicious French butter. We shared the escargot, burrata, steak tartare, and squash salad.
My wife and I shared the steak frites with seared foie gras and gnocchi and they were both fabulous.
We finished with the chocolate mousse and the apple cider sorbet which was very interesting, and French Sauternes. Everything was great tonight. Loved the Daft Punk bathroom. The server was knowledgeable and caring but did miss a few beats thus the four stars on service. Otherwise we highly recommend Bar Terroir and my wife thought it was even better than Rocca.

The foie gras was excellent.
Pâté wasn't served with any bread or at least crackers. I never saw that anywhere else.
The steak frites was chewy and the fries were way way too salty.
Finally the sole ( small filets) was literally swimming in the sauce. Looked like a dish from the 90's.

The French cuisine was a nice change of pace just having returned from Portugal and Italy. I brought a couple of friends who had never tried French food.
Overall we had a great time and really enjoyed the food.

I recently dined at Bar Terroir, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Every detail was meticulously taken care of, making us feel truly valued as guests.
The food was nothing short of delicious. Each dish showcased the chef's creativity and attention to detail, highlighting fresh, high-quality ingredients that really shone through. It was clear that every aspect of the menu had been thoughtfully crafted.
What stood out even more was the staff. They were incredibly engaging, providing not just service, but a genuine connection that enhanced our dining experience. Our server was knowledgeable and passionate, guiding us through the menu and ensuring we were well taken care of throughout our meal.
The drink selections were equally impressive. Every ingredient in both our food and drinks was carefully considered, resulting in a harmonious balance of flavors. The sommelier’s wine selection was spot on, perfectly complementing the dishes we ordered and elevating the entire meal.
Overall, Bar Terroir is a must-visit. With exceptional food, attentive staff, and a well-curated drink menu, it truly feels like every need is anticipated and met. I can’t wait to return!
