A MUST go!! Delicious food that makes your body feel good! Many options for anyone’s tastes and food desires. Very aesthetically pleasing. And to top off the good food and good service, they had free ice cream!!! This restaurant has a customer first mentality. Truly a unique and wonderful experience. Next time I am near Tampa Florida I will be coming back.
I had to edit this review because I totally forgot to say that on top of all of the already mentioned this restaurant has good prices (adding to the customer first mentality). Truly a one of a kind.

Absolutely fabulous!!! Best concept yet! I really don't think I could ask for more of a restaurant. We go here for brunch at least once a month and if there was a location here in the Brandon area I'd be there almost every day! I still have yet to try everything on the menu. There are so many different choices and then you can build your own items to create even more combinations on top of that. The tractor company fountain drinks are absolutely delicious. I never drink soda but I will drink those all day long because they have flavors like, lemongrass ginger and others that no one ever has. They are natural sodas made from whole ingredients not chemicals. So The quality level and artisanship that goes into preparing each dish is really spectacular to see. Not only is it a gorgeous presentation coming out to the table but the coupling and meddling of different flavors is really unparalleled to any other restaurant in our area. The pairing of ingredients, some of which may even seem peculiar to go together, works out so well in every dish that it almost seems like witchcraft! Matt, who is the manager there, sets a great tone for that business. The staff is always incredibly friendly courteous and very passionate about the bare naked kitchen restaurant and what it has to offer to the public. They should be they have a great place there to be proud of. If you're on your way through Hyde Park you are absolutely missing out not stopping here. We live 15 miles away and sometimes will drive all the way there just to eat. If I'm not feeling good and need to straighten out my body I'll do the 30 mi trip. There is something for everyone. If Americans ate more whole, natural, minimally processed foods like this on a regular basis, we would be massively healthier and slimmer for it. But it's not all health stuff they have so many choices, they even have pizzas cookies and ice creams! For me they are BEST OF TAMPA BAY!!
Dietary restrictions: They will work with all kinds of dietary restrictions and are very respectful of that.

We come here every Sunday after church for a Krew Social hangout, and Matt the manager is so accommodating. We're able to get a large space and free sodas as well as their usual free ice cream 😋

Weird experience. This place is listed as dog friendly. They don’t have table service so you have to order inside even if you want to sit outside (where dogs are allowed). That would work great if the over zealous would not kick you out of the store because the dog is not a service dog, according to company policy. To the genius who wrote said company policy: how about allow me to order before inviting me to eat outside or just say you’re not dog friendly and not waste peoples time?

BEWARE if you have a tree nut allergy!
My daughter, son in-law, and I ordered takeout from Bare Naked Kitchen on 11/27 for dinner. We wrote in the comments on the order that one of the customers has a tree nut allergy and to be aware of it. We ordered three entrees and the Bee Sting flatbread. According to the info on the menu, there were no tree nuts in any of the items. After the first bite of the Bee Sting, my daughter (who had delivered a baby a week earlier) had an allergic reaction (throat started to close up). She's been allergic to tree nuts her entire life and is very cautious and aware of the symptoms of a reaction. After taking a large dose of Benadryl (not ideal for a new breastfeeding mother), she called the restaurant and asked for the manager to inquire if there are any tree nuts in Bee Sting and was told no, so she told the woman on the phone that she was having an allergic reaction (and informed her that they were alerted to her allergy in the comments to the order). The woman repeated there were no tree nuts in the food. My daughter then said that there must be cross contamination in the kitchen and was told that was impossible. My daughter told her it couldn't be impossible as she had an allergic reaction after the first bite of food and wasn't allergic to any foods other than tree nuts. The supposed manager (a woman) dug in her heels and wouldn't budge. My daughter felt as if she was being called a liar or an idiot so she ended the call.
My son in-law was so upset at the way his wife was treated that he called back and asked to talk to the manager. A man then came on the phone and said he was the manager. I'm guessing they didn't put the manager on the phone for the first call with my daughter (hmm?). My son in-law had the same conversation with the male manager, who also said the kitchen does not have any cross contamination issues. My son in-law said that's impossible as his wife was having an allergic reaction. After going back and forth, the male manager finally apologized and said that they would take care of it on our charge and asked how we paid. My son in-law told him. There was nothing credited to my charge card. So the manager was not being truthful when he said they'd take care of it. He was apparently just wanting to end the conversation.
In addition to getting food that was clearly cross contaminated with tree nuts, being treated in a manner that was unprofessional and uncalled for, and having to call back only to talk to another "manager" who was also reluctant to offer an apology, the food was just ok. There was nothing special about any of the dishes and the bill for three entrees and a flatbread was $77.
Note to staff and management: a sincere apology and following through on an offer to reduce a customer's bill because of a problem in your kitchen goes a long way toward happy, repeat customers.

Title: Disappointing Experience at Barenaked Kitchen – Lack of Training and Unfair Expectations
I started working at Barenaked Kitchen in South Tampa on 10/24/2024 as a cashier. During my interview with Matt, one of the managers, he seemed knowledgeable and passionate about the company’s values and mission. I was excited to join the team, but my experience quickly became disappointing due to lack of proper training and unclear expectations.
From the start, I made it clear that I was a full-time college student with a full-time job, and I was willing to put in the effort. However, I wasn’t informed that I would be required to pass a menu test within just 3-4 shifts. Had I known about this strict expectation upfront, I would have prepared myself better.
Unfortunately, the training I received was minimal. Rather than being given time to learn and study the menu, I was often asked to bus tables or stand around during busy periods. I had very little hands-on experience, and I was not given enough time to fully familiarize myself with the food items. By the time I took the first menu test after my third shift, I had worked only about 8 hours in total. While I didn’t get every detail right, I did my best to remember the majority of the items. Matt assured me that it was okay and that the first test was simply a baseline.
However, when I came in for my fourth shift on 11/18/2024, I was immediately asked to take the test again, with no warning or preparation time. I requested just five minutes to refresh my memory on the menu, but Matt refused, telling me to go straight to the table. After 20 minutes of me clocking in for work I was harshly graded on the test. Matt expressed disappointment and told me that we should part ways. I felt this decision was unfair, especially considering the minimal time I had been given to learn the menu.
Additionally, some of the other employees at the restaurant, who had been there much longer than I had, also mentioned that they were not fully familiar with the menu. This made me feel like the decision to let me go was personal, rather than based on my actual performance.
To make matters worse, I noticed that the restaurant doesn’t always follow the protocols outlined in the employee handbook. For example, I observed staff serving food in the expo window without gloves, which raises concerns about safety and hygiene. Also minors serving alcohol.
While the food at Barenaked Kitchen is good, my experience with the management and the overall lack of training was disappointing. I would caution potential employees to be aware of the high expectations without the proper support, and the unprofessional atmosphere that may undermine the experience.

Went for lunch, me and my girlfriend, and neither of us liked our dishes they were okay, but it appears the chef is trying to hard and overdid it. If you're a snooty South Tampa transplant from NY or LA, this is right up your alley.

Went here on a whim, my wife wanted a salad from wendys, so I saw this and absolutely thrilled I did. The steak was delicious, the salmon was cooked perfectly. If you enjoy eating healthy without giving up flavor this is the spot.
The lady who was taking our order was extremely personable and checked in time to time while ate.
The atmosphere was great, and the seats were extremely comfortable, like an outdoor lounge chair.
Can't wait to go back.
