We sort of fell into this place it was raining and our kids were at a cooking class next door. The food was fantastic and the churros are so good!! 😊

Such a cool joint! This area of Tampa reminds me of Kirkland Washington, with its' older, but well kept construction and that homey public square feeling. This restaurant is right in the heart of it, and the food, drinks and service were above board!
Vegetarian options: Our host was vegetarian and he is a regular for both the falafel and cauliflower street tacos!

Fourth time here, and still no better. Bartenders all chatting amongst themselves.. not paying much attention to guests waiting to be served at the bar. The drinks were very subpar, and the food was absolutely awful. It’s a Hard No. Never again.

I had to take a minute and give Bar Taco its Flowers. We moved here about a year ago and have had very little luck with just good food.
We frequent one of these at least once a week.

Food is consistent and really good.
Bar Taco is always fresh and the team is always on it. I mean super attentive. Same at Terra & same at Union.
The wait at all is 45 to an hour without reservation on two and the other luck.
I want to also say they are all well run. If there is ever an issue, which is very rare, they find a way to make it right. You are heard and they course correct immediately.
It's Labor Day who want's to be working. Very few. They treat it like any other day. Keep the customer/client #1 and it will always work out.
Today the food seemed off. Manager noticed or had the intuition that something was not right. Came to the table and said how was everything? Im sure the answer is 99% always fantastic or good.
Ours was the fish tacos seem off. He took one look and said they don't look good. Then not only removed them from our bill, also removed the beverages. Definitely not necessary, but a thanks for us not acting rude.
Again it's always good. Today was strange and they not only course corrected, but made me the customer feel good. Job well done. We will be back next week.
