We are from Louisiana and there are only two things we miss. One is family and two is the food. Luckily since we have found Batonroux we only miss family. Batonroux dishes are amazing!!! I just had the most amazing beignets from this food truck — a true taste of Baton Rouge right here in town! The beignets were perfectly fried, soft and pillowy on the inside with a light crisp outside, and generously dusted with powdered sugar. What really took them over the top was the butter rum sauce — absolutely delicious and the perfect pairing! You can tell the food is made with love and authenticity. The team was warm and welcoming, and the flavors brought back that Southern comfort. I’ll definitely be back to try more from their menu. Highly recommend!

I was excited to see a cajun food truck in my hood this evening. I found the menu onkine and quickly decided on Crawfish etoufee and strawberry lemon Beignets. Holy smokes, was I in for a treat. The Etoufee was delicious. Lots of seafood and flavor. Then on to the Beignets. I have had some insanely delicious desserts in my day but this was the best sweet treat I have ever had. The beignets were so light and crispy on the outside and doughy goodness on the inside. They were paired with a divine and light as air lemon creme, fresh whipped creme, strawberries and some vanilla ice cream on the side. Seriously if anything, find this foodie truck for the beignets no matter what.

We recently had the pleasure of having Baton Roux cater a major event for our company of 30 people here in plant city, and let me tell you they absolutely delivered. I’d seen them featured on the news and had high expectations going in, but experiencing their service in person was a whole different level. They’re even better live.
From the moment they arrived, the professionalism of the staff was unmatched. Everything was timely, well-organized, and smooth. But the real star? The food. Every single dish was bursting with flavor and originality you could literally taste the love and craftsmanship that Alexis, the head chef and owner, pours into each recipe. Her attention to detail and her creativity in blending bold, unique flavors truly made this experience unforgettable.
Our employees haven’t stopped talking about the food since the event. Because of the overwhelming response, we’re now working on setting up weekly deliveries every Monday for Employee Appreciation Days. That’s how much our team loved it. We’re even hoping to lock in a monthly catering contract with them soon.
