I recently visited The Battery in Tampa and was surprised by the experience. When I arrived, there were plenty of open tables, but I was told they were not seating anyone else because the staff “could not handle it.” It was disappointing to be turned away despite the restaurant clearly having space available. I hope they can improve their staffing and communication so guests don’t have this kind of experience in the future.

The charcuterie board was excellent. Also had the lobster mac & cheese, which is really good as well as the seafood tower incredible. The people in my party complained about the steaks but everything I had was excellent. They have a great drink menu as well as so many bourbons I couldn’t count all high quality. Overall, I loved it

An elevated dining experience! Amazing cocktails from friendly bartenders Collin and Matt (try the Fully Charged and Spicy Sombrero)! Food was fresh and fantastic as well. Great ambiance, attentive management, and chill live music vibes. Highly recommend! We’ll definitely come back.

The entire team was incredibly responsive and made sure everything went smoothly, which made all the difference.
Planning an event like this—especially last minute and in a city you've never visited—can be stressful, but the team at The Battery made it all feel effortless. The room looked elegant and very impressive. The food and drinks were amazing too! People were still talking about how much they enjoyed the dinner days after the conference.
I’d like to personally thank Steven, Ana, Brianna, Adeline, Aaron, and Matt for their exceptional customer service. We truly had a great time and will definitely plan to dine here again the next time we're in Tampa!
I took my husband to Battery for his birthday. We were both very impressed. Gina was our server and she was great! Very personable and attentive. We both got the smash burger and it was delicious! Probably the best burger I've had recently. The ambience was nice, live musician covering songs, noise level was decent. I could actually have a conversation with my husband. The place is nice for a romantic/special occasion dinner but also a good place for laid back meal/drinks with friends. We will definitely be back!

We had a great meal at battery. The service was a little slow because there was a holiday event going on that we were aware of. Our waitress was very informative telling us what was going on with our order the entire time. The food was fabulous and we will be returning soon.

Pro tip: maybe don’t start shooing people away at 9:45 when a concert or hockey game dumps a few thousand hungry, thirsty humans into the street at 9:30. As a restaurant owner myself, I watched your staff casually turn away what was easily $3k in revenue because it was “last call.”
The level of flippancy was impressive, honestly, like they were allergic to money. I get that you’re probably paying a gazillion dollars a month in rent, but with a business model like this, you might want to start budgeting for a “For Lease” sign.
