Dining table height would improve the experience i.e.; the lobby bar. Also, serving utensils should be present without request. Beautiful ambiance in general.
Great ambience and a great view. The servers were great. We opted for appetizer and cocktails and while the cocktails were good the cheese appetizer was very dry. I must admit that could have been by design so I can not knock it, but it was definitely allowing us to have an extra cocktail to help us swallow:)
Beautiful setting. Food was delicious as we tried a variety of small shareable plates. Good service & drinks as well.
Excellent service and ambiance as always! The staff and the cocktails make it all worth while!
Beacon Tampa's Spill the Tea event is the adult tea party you've been needing. It served as a lovely little bachelorette gathering for my sister. The savory treat tray is filled with unique twists on some things you're already familiar with, like cucumber sandwiches and egg salad. It also delights you with things you may never have tried, like the peppadew peppers filled with bleu cheese. The sweet treats are a "choose your own adventure" vibe with an assortment of scones, cakes, and cream puffs. Of course, you can't sip tea without the tea! The list of teas is wonderful, refreshing and can be served hot or iced. All this in a setting that overlooks parts of Tampa, is open and yet private. The servers are also polite and attentive. It really is a great time for large and small groups.
Great atmosphere Definitely a place to bring out of town guest Or just a girls night out. Good place for couples, very intimate scenery. Parking was $25 on the weekend Special elevator needed to get to the 27th floor Over all great place to. Drinks were decent, food was ok...not great. But it is tapas style. You really go here for the ambience. Keep that in mind.
I recently visited this rooftop bar and overall, I really enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere is genuinely upscale with a bit of a bougie flair — beautiful views, stylish decor, and chill music that creates a relaxed, classy vibe. The service was excellent as well; attentive, warm, and professional. However, it's important to note that the menu is limited to appetizers and shareable plates. While the food was good, the portions were small and definitely on the pricier side. I spent about $224 on what was essentially “finger food.” Considering that it's located inside the Marriott and right by the water, the elevated pricing is somewhat expected — but it's still worth mentioning. If you're going for the ambiance, drinks, and overall experience, this place delivers. It's perfect for a night out where the focus is the vibe, the view, and the company. Just don't arrive expecting a full meal. Overall, it's a stunning upscale, bougie spot with great energy — ideal for those who appreciate atmosphere and don't mind paying for it.
View was great. Server (from South Bend ,IN) was fantastic. Walked us thru some drink options as well as appetizers. Was very attentive checking in with us periodically.
The reason I gave 3 stars is that I made the reservation for outdoor and they didn't owner that. I was disappointed from the start.
Ryan our server was on point! We needed a late flight late night food options destination. Tapas did not disappoint. Earthy flavors, large portion size, attention to the details in the ingredients. Scallops, Hummas, Spring Rolls all worthy of a redo. And the view? ~ Icing on the cake.

I've only had the scallops, but they are the best scallops I've had. The flavors and presentation are amazing. The views are picture perfect, the staff are pleasant and attentive.
It was my first time at the beacon rooftop that I attended for a date and it was an incredible night all 10/10. Thank you to all the staff for pleasing my request and for the pleasant experience they gave me
Our waiter was awesome! The food was not great. The flatbread came with over medium eggs. They tasted weird. The drinks were delicious and the place was wonderful. Definitely want to go again soon.
I was so disappointed in my experience here! I had been once before and loved the beautiful outdoor rooftop. I made and confirmed an outdoor reservation a month and a half in advance and added two people to the reservation a couple weeks later with no problem. However, upon arrival I was told my reservation was for indoors. (I can only guess when I added 2 guests, my reservation was changed to inside but nowhere in my confirmation did it say inside.) Despite my requests, the manager would not move us outside even though there were multiple open tables/sofas. He stated they were already reserved. All those spaces remained empty for the entire hour we were there. What was supposed to be the beginning of very special evening was, instead, an overpriced, cold, and loud round of drinks while a beautiful sunset was enjoyed by a bunch of empty tables. You can do better Beacon!
Awesome vibes. The space is green, with tasteful colorful interior and outstanding views from the patio (highly recommended for high tea experience). The service was very good and the food also met our spoiled with fine dining expectations. The entire experience was very good and the atmosphere was very relaxing - we visited for Spill the Tea on Sunday. We will certainly be back.
