I want to say thank you for the amazing experience tonight! It has been 3 years since we lived in Tampa. Wife and I knew we needed to go back and saved the best for last, Beccofino. Not only was it just as we remembered, it was better. The small twists in flavor you added to original recipes....perfect. Hospitality is the best you can get in Tampa for a personalized dining. Thank you sir! We will be back!

The reviews are fake on the site, I think. Our experience was a lot less than expected. Seafood was bad and had a pungent ammonia smell. I had the steak. It was cold and super salty. The chef/owner did suggest a wonderful Italian wine and they did remove the seafood from our tab..so thank you to them for that.
We were really looking forward to this place..sadly it really was disappointing as well as the atmosphere. The bathroom door does not close completely and...well, the track lighting....whew. Our server Ryan was very good, through and knowledgeable. I really wanted to give a good review here. It just didn't come close to what it promises on their website. :(

Worst food ever. The only thing more inflated than the owners ego was the bill. Spent over $300 on a dinner to leave hungry and extremely disappointed.

Edit to response: maybe if you provided the bottle we ordered. Also learn how to cook seafood. Shrimp was raw and chewy. Lobster was frozen dead, and whole and tasted like bile. I’ve enjoyed being sick in my bathroom more than your establishment. The only ā€œauthenticā€ thing is the wannabe gangster greasy attitude from the drugged out little coward of an owner.

Owner was nice but this was shockingly bad. Quite surprised there are so many good reviews. Would never eat here again nor recommend it. A complete let down and waste of money.

Food was so sub par for a Valentine’s Day special I got a burger after. Frozen whole fl lobster should be cleaned.

Maybe it was a bad night? Steak was cold, my seafood dinner included fish that smelled horribly of ammonia, the wine was great. Reviews didn't match our experience.

I wish I had read the terrible reviews on this site as well as most of the other sites. (NOT FAKE REVIEWS) We ate here months ago because we have driven passed your resturant many times. Our experience was less than enjoyable and definitely underwhelming. I can't believe any business owner would respond to any patron in such an unprofessional way. I don't care how Itallian you are, you are not the absolute authority of Italian food. I suggest you take some lessons in hospitaltity, and how to accomodate the people who are paying you!

I went here with my mother last thursday. I ordered fettuccine and a side of bread. After 43 minutes my food finally came, it was unready and unappetizing. While we were there we didn’t get a single refill in a small restaurant with hardly anyone in it. Food is terrible and the service is terrible. DONT COME HERE!

Wow! Beccofino is a must visit. The food is special and the service, next level. Antonio and his lovely wife Elizabeth are beautiful people and their restaurant deserves 1000 stars! Can’t recommend highly enough.

I had high hopes as I enjoy smaller, quaint, restaurants. Initially, we ordered the beef carpaccio, ravioli, and spaghetti with lobster, but they had run out lobster so settled for steak. The carpaccio was fine, wasn't anything great. When we got our mains, they weren't that hot. We had to send the steak back as it was cold. Because there were only 4 tables, I couldn't understand. The wild boar ragu and ravioli was really good. I’ll give it another shot.

Had a great time at Beccofino. The hosts are fantastic. The food is 5 star and the atmosphere is like being at a family home. I highly recommend this place for a great night out.

Horrible Experience – False Advertising, Unfriendly, and Overpriced

Horrible Experience – False Advertising, Unfriendly, and Overpriced

We made a reservation for a birthday party at Beccofino after seeing on Google that they advertised themselves as kid-friendly. I made it clear in our reservation that we had two babies, yet when we arrived, they had no baby chairs, leaving us unable to stay. Instead of accommodating us, they charged a ridiculous $240 cancellation fee!

When I asked to speak to the owner, I was rudely told that ā€œthis is not a kids’ restaurant.ā€ If that’s the case, then why advertise yourself as welcoming to families? To make matters worse, the place is a wet dump. From the moment you step out of your car in the terrible parking lot to entering the dingy bathrooms, it’s a nightmare.

On top of that, their prices are insanely pretentious for what they offer. Seriously, you are NOT a high-end restaurant—don’t let the Euro accents fool you. The whole operation feels like a scam, profiting off unsuspecting customers with misleading advertising and outrageous fees.

Save your money and your time. There are far better places in Tampa that treat their customers with respect and don’t try to trick them into paying absurd amounts for an underwhelming experience. Avoid Beccofino at all costs!
