Yum! We went for the first time ever on my guy's birthday. The lighting was dim, the place was loud, and the waiter (Joe F.) was super friendly. We were served brushetta and water upon the waiter's arrival at our table. We both odered the PASTE delle CASA - POLLO o ROSSO. While we were waiting on our entreee, bread was brought to our table, with butter. The Pollo i Rooso is highly recommended! It was a nice portion and very filling. Super flavorful and robost. Get this if you like spice! We each eat ate half and brought the rest home for leftovers. They also gave us a second serving of the bread. [The menu says: the majority of our pasta is made in house fresh daily, the same way it’s been done for centuries: From semolina (made from Durham wheat) and water. Served “al dente.” Our sauces are also fresh and housemade—and not cooked until ordered (with the exception of the Bolognese).]~ Extra sauce 2.00. For the POLLO o ROSSO Chunks of chicken breast reddened with hot spices and “blackened” in a very hot pan; sautéed with scallions and mushrooms, then reduced in creamy basil-tomato sauce with fresh tomato and tossed with fettuccine. Chicken $23. If you sign up in advance on their website, they email you a $20 off coupon for your birthday. The restaurant was in a really nice area, and no reservation was needed on a Saturday night. Enjoyable night out on the town!

We went to dinner with my wife, it was great, it was fast, it was very successful but unfortunately the food taste and portion sizes were not good, it was insufficient, the location of the place was very nice, I ate nice Italian pasta, I liked it very much, my wife ate eggplant lasagna but unfortunately it did not meet her expectations, she said she could not taste the eggplant and the cheese was too thick, but when we told this to the waiter, the head waiter came to our table and apologized, they said they would not charge us for the lasagna and they did not, it was very nice that they compensated for this kind of service, whether it was a mistake or not, it is sweet when customers’ expectations are not met, thank you for everything, for your service and attention

This literally is my first review ive ever left... that is how chill I am when things dont go great at places.... but I have to leave one for this experience. The owner told me I wasnt allowed to have my laptop out... after I ate dinner... but I was ordering drinks every 30 mins (I was not just sitting there like u would at a coffee shop; I was just alone and it was 6:15 pm and finishing clearing emails) spent $100 and tipped 30 percent. I then get approached by the owner while finishing my last drink... He said I cant sit at the bar after 5 pm with a laptop. Mind you.... i have a full drink not drank... (mind u as his wife and 2 old drunk women wont stop talking to me as im working and minding my own business... the lady beside me was hammered and friends with the owners wife sitting 2 seats down and she had zero self awareness to stop talking but me minding my own business and allowing this lady to annoy me and slurs her words and not stop talking... but me with a laptop open is an issue).... Beyond laughable and odd when I start companies and help them with profit margins/ROI.... i didnt want to watch football which was all that was on the tv and I was alone and needed to clear emails and continuously ordering not just sitting there. ive been and lived in the nicest cities and restaurants and have never had to deal with such illegal actions/laughable simpletons #tampa (as a tip of advice is to have ppl like me who are business professionals and tip well and spend money at ur place... not 2 drunk women who are friends with the owners wife getting free drinks and talking to anyone sitting beside them for longer than wanted)... could of had my team from NY every week there spending 1k but ur so dumb u will never have that and we will be going somewhere else). You just lost a 5k a month potential client for my team to be at always weekly.

This is a wonderful location for nearly any occasion! Bring the family, a friend or a date. There’s seating inside and out and the atmosphere is cozy yet open with great ambient lighting in the evening. We had the pleasure of being waited on by Jen. She was fabulous! First time in and she explained the menus and gave wonderful recommendations! I had the Pollo Milano as recommended, which is topped with a delicious balsamic vinaigrette. Don’t skip on dessert either! 10/10 recommend!

This has been our favorite local restaurant for many years now. You can tell that the pasta is fresh as advertised, and we have rarely tried a dish here that we were not completely satisfied with. The service is generally unremarkable these days, and the atmosphere only suffers because it is so loud, in fact I would discourage parties larger than 4 if you want to converse.
