The food wasn’t all that at all . The ribs were a 7/10. The mash potatoes wasn’t good . The green beans wasn’t hitting . The fried chicken wings were okay . The fried chicken reminded me of Chinese fried chicken 6/10. The yellow rice was horrible. The potato salad was a waste of money and time to get . Food is too expensive and it isn’t good . I wouldn’t come back unless I’m just coming to get the ribs and fried chicken only and that’s it . Oh yeah the pink lemonade was really good and the Mac and cheese . $60 done the drain

Prices a bit too high for the demographic but the food is pretty good. Can't come here to much cause $20 for one meal isn't reasonable.

The food is decent but definitely doesn't look or taste as good as how it does on their IG page. The mac n cheese was very good but the broccoli was not! It was watery and not green, very dark. They overcooked all of the nutrients right out. The beef stew was tender but not a fan of the curry in it. The cornbread was terrible. I love cornbread so I was very disappointed. So, so dry and no flavor. The blue lemonade was very good tho. Overall very pricey for the mediocre food. Not worth it.

I went today and we tried the spot because everyone recommends them for soul food. I’ve been in Tampa since 2008, and I have yet to find a spot that truly delivers. Their beef stew…it had a weird raw curry flavor. The collard greens were bitter, and the field peas were not fluffy on the inside. The cabbage and broccoli were both chopped in big pieces that were hard to break down. The turkey wings were tender but lacked real flavor. The cornbread dressing was decent but again no real flavor. I cook so I come in expecting restaurants that charge high prices to deliver and all I can say is we went, but I don’t have to return.

We just came in from a cruise in the Port of Tampa and some folks told us to try Blue Flame, and we have never been so disappointed after ordering via UBER Eats.We spent $70+dollars including a tip. The mothered pork chops were not good and were thin, the mashed potatoes and the cabbage weren't any better. The side that were almost $5.00 each weren't good either. We red velvet cake is so dry and banana pudding is awful. Thank goodness we go home to North Georgia tomorrow because this has been the worst southern food experience.

The food was good but everyone should wear gloves especially those serving.
I went there before and a lady was sweeping and ask me what I want, I told her after she wash her hands, she said she did wash her hands when I was watching her the whole time. She was basically calling me a liar, than she said she wash them again. If she hadn't I just wasn't ordering.
Remember ppl always watching BUT the food is good. It was late and almost closing time. The new set of ppl were engaging with us and my hubby got some dessert. One of my toastmaster Sister's was getting her family some food so we caught us whole waiting for our food. This was a pleasant experience.

While waiting for my delicious food I chatted with Denise. She was briefly waiting for her fried items and we talked. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. The customer service is stellar. A must go to for great food.

Me and my family chose to eat at this restaurant everything I give a 10. But get there early or you will be in a long line . It's a little pricey but you are getting a lot of food for your money this is one of my family's favorite restaurants.
