We particularly enjoyed today's experience with Simone, Ricardo, Matt, Mariah, Hailey, Ben, Clay, Alex, Ralph, and Alec. You all feel like family, and today's Bastille Day festivities and food and drinks were as lovely as ever. -The RiCharde's ♥️

Drinks were slow to arrive (martini and wine) but ok. Shrimp appetizer was cold. West coast oysters were large and quite good. Lobster pot pie was cold. Duck confit was lukewarm warm. Bread pudding was very good but chocolate dessert was mediocre at best. Service was slow and ambiance was so loud that you need to use one of four methods to communicate: 1. Yell very loudly but in a non threatening tone to avoid being considered part of the MAGA cult 2. Pass written notes between people 3. Attempt sign language 4. Text each other risking scorn for using phone while dining Overall there was a well rehearsed disinterest displayed by everyone except the enthusiastic and attentive dessert server. Not great if you only intend to spend $175 per person. Maybe spending more gets warmer food and better service. Unfortunately I won't eat caviar, even if “sustainability harvested” (not sure how that is accomplished but nice virtue signaling).

Enjoyed the food. Sat outside in the back where it was quiet and cooled, even on a very hot night. Table staff was great, but stretched to provide top notch service, since they were covering so many tables.

Hello My first experience and overall experience was great but ambience ... guests need to understand and know clothing etiquete sad to be in a such a place with great decorations , music and lighting but guests need to acknowledge dress etiquete or your place need to state no T shirts , flip flops. This way the environment and ambience will be suitable with your exquisite place. Thank you

This is an excellent french restaurant. I only have two recommendations. First, it would be desirable if they could do something to reduce the noise level which is very loud. Also, i was disappointed that they need to charge for bread service. When you're paying these kind of prices, they should at least give customers a complimentary baguette and butter. I've been to other upscale french restaurants that do not charge for bread. The fact that Boulon does this is rather insulting.

The food was good, the service was good. The overall experience felt rushed for a date night that cost over $200.

The food and service were exceptional. We sat outside which was very pleasant despite the sounds of traffic.

Been there many times and surprised at the lack of service and quality of food. Was my favorite place and took my friend who had never been. Sad experience:(

Everything was great except the bread. It was kind of stale and thrown on a toaster or something.

The food is well executed classical French cafe fare. The atmosphere is modern and hip. Service is very friendly and attentive. Our favorite Tampa restaurant now.

You're paying for the location & ambiance. Food was below average, and you could tell the fries had been sitting under a heat lamp. Took close to an hour for our food to arrive.

Food was horrible, I had the burger which was soooo greasy and the fries overly salty my husband had the steak fritters and fries which was dry and undercooked fries salty as well. I would definitely not come back. The bar was packed but dinner was not it.

Authentic Frech cuisine like if you were in Paris! Butter cake & charcuterie board excellent! Service & ambiance great! Highly recommend if you are looking for a great meal in the Water Street district.

Boulon Brasserie is a standout gem in the heart of Tampa's culinary scene. The moment you walk in, you're greeted with a refined, stylish atmosphere that balances classic French elegance with the vibrant energy of a modern brasserie. But let's get straight to the must-try: the blue crab beignets. These are a revelation—golden, delicate, and bursting with sweet, fresh crab. Paired with a subtly spicy rémoulade, they strike the perfect balance of rich and light, indulgent and refined. If you're a seafood lover, this dish alone is worth the visit. The rest of the menu doesn't disappoint either—beautifully executed French staples with a coastal Florida twist. From expertly crafted cocktails to attentive service and a lively ambiance, Boulon Brasserie makes for an exceptional dining experience. Pro tip: order the beignets to share—but you might not want to.
