Showed up at opening, did not find the place.

please see this man’s commentary about his food truck before you decide to support his business, especially if you’re vegan.

Menu said 12$ but then came up to the counter and was charged 17$. It ended up being $21 after the tip. The meal was big, but was pure rice, beans, and a dry meat with a tiny sauce. Lacked the attention to detail, or flavor that would make us feel okay about spending 20 bucks in that. All good and I appreciate the struggle, but the owner needs to rethink things a bit. There are plenty of pricey but healthy veganish places that make you feel like you’re getting value for your money (think fresh kitchen) and also plenty of places that make rice and beans taste good enough to make it worth it (think bodega in st Pete). Something needs to change! Maybe add more garnishes, sauce, and perfect the flavor? Or lower the price? Ideally a bit of both

The vegan “Dulce de leche” absolutely has to just be the canned sweetened coconut milk. There are claims that it is so pale due to it being vegan but sugar is going to caramelize whether it’s vegan or not. I’ve personally made vegan dulce de leche at home (from scratch and from the can) and both have gotten a golden brown color. I previously refrained from commenting about this disappointing experience, but the business (ifykyk) clearly enjoys taking Vegans money and making fun of them for it. There has been a lot of waffling when it came to whether or not the menu will be entirely vegan or just have vegan options in the past (to the point where it’s unsettling on whether you really are getting a vegan option). It’s honestly super disappointing from a local vendor to have this level of distrust.

the churros are good aside from the dulce de leche (the owner will defend it by saying "it's vegan"). if you can't replicate something, just don't call it that or simply don't serve it. the owner has repeatedly shown the community that all he cares about is taking money from vegans, nothing more. he has made comments online about the "comical nature" of serving vegans then going home and eating meat. i don't mind getting vegan food from a nonvegan establishment, but i won't spend money at a business who doesn't respect me.

I recently visited your food truck and wanted to share my feedback. While I appreciate the challenges small businesses face, I must be honest about my experience. I've given you three stars, with two stars reflecting respect for your endeavor in a competitive industry. However, I believe there are areas for improvement.

Firstly, I must commend the churro – it was the best I've ever had. However, I found it to be on the smaller side for the price. Doubling the size for a slightly higher price would be ideal.

Secondly, I tried the pastels, priced at $5 each. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the portion size and filling. The pastels seemed to contain more air than filling, and the meat was dry. Given the price, I expected a more generous portion and better quality. Additionally, considering the affordability of meat, it was surprising to find such a small amount used.

Overall, while I was hoping for an authentic taste of Brazil, the experience fell short. The prices resemble those of Whole Foods, but the quality felt closer to a budget store. I hope this feedback helps in improving the offerings and enhancing the overall customer experience.

8$ ice cream, for a shot glass worth of chalky, freezer burnt, ice cream. I couldn’t even get the spoon through it was so freezer burnt. A plain churro for 4$, raw in middle and not even 5 inches long. Scam if i ever seen one.

Brazilian Fun Foods has awesome vegan, gluten free, peanut and nut free food. They even have soy free choices too. They are great at accommodating dietary issues. I love their yuca sandwiches and churros. Thanks for providing delicious food for people with allergies and special food concerns!

This is the only place I've ever been that's had vegan/allergy friendly churros. And they're so good!!!! I wish I could eat this food all the time!

The most overpriced food EVER. You get a $5 Pastel that is legit 3 bites….. I got 2 of those and 2 churros and spent $25!!!!

Food was gross, dry. Small portion and extremely unprofessional

The food is delicious. Definitely in the higher price range but worth it so just treat yourself! The freshness and quality can definitely be tasted. The food truck was at St.Pete Pride and was one of the few trucks I noticed that had many VG and GFO. As mentioned definitely pricey but when you take a bite of their churros any money spent will be forgotten lol
