I've been coming here over 20 years. There's been ups and downs over the years. My last 3 experiences here have been less than stellar. The food wasn't on par with what I've come to expect. The service was terrible. I waited almost an hour for 2 sandwiches. I truly hope that you all can get it together. Brocattos is a Tampa staple and I'd hate to see it close.

Be hungry the devil crabs are dynamite. Nothing like them anywhere else.plenty of crab meat. You can dine in they do have tables outside under a big canopy.

I wanted a Bacon egg and cheese sandwich. It took about twenty to thirty minutes to get my food. I get it and the bacon is not done. It's all rubbery.

Went on a Friday got there about 11:10 in the morning. Parking was empty maybe 3 or 4 cars. Right when we entered my friend and I were greeted. We ordered the special which was 2 footlong cubans for 20 bucks, we also brought 2 of the deviled crab cakes. The special came with a fountain drink and a small bag of lays chips (choose from reg, sour cream, barbeque). The wait for the food was not bad at all, the cuban sandwich was great. The pork was all good pieces of meat no chewy pieces of fat that. It also had salami, ham, mayo, pickles, lettuce, and tomatoes. The deviled crab was huge and had thick breading but was filled completely with crab mixture inside. It was great. Once 11:45 rolled around the place was busy. I mean about 7 other parties all walked in to get their lunch etc. a 3rd friend joined us and he enjoyed the food he ordered.
Great food. Service was friendly but we had to wait awhile for our food. There is very limited seating inside but a nice size outdoor picnic area that is covered.

Best crab cake EVER! I have had the pleasure of traveling all over the country and eating at a wide variety of restaurants both formal and casual. I have had Maryland crab cakes which until now I thought were the best. Absolutely nothing beats the deviled crab cakes here! Also very reasonably priced.
