We just had the absolute best avocado toast (egg perfectly cooked and slightly runny with a great amount of avocado on cracked wheat toast topped with chili lime oil....perfection) and a delicious caramel oatmilk latte at Buddy Brew! Great service and atmosphere too! We will definitely be back!

When I first moved to Tampa, I'm not sure I understood the hype behind Buddy Brew... but now that I've gone a few times, I can whole heartedly say that I have joined the cult and am ADDICTED. I love it so much! They are SO consistent, no matter which location you go to (and they are all cute cafes with good parking options and great service with fantastic baristas). I love love love the taste of their espresso. And they make my favorite drink perfect each time (highly recommend iced vanilla with oat milk, half sweetened). Also love coming here for a nice ambience to study in.

If I could give this Buddy Brew a 3.5 I would have. I've been to this location many times and usually would rate everything pretty good. The food is consistent as well, big fan of the Kennedy. However, today was not a great experience at all. The staffer taking the order was not very pleasant, but easily brushed off early in the morning. Then I received my coffee, a cold brew with a splash of half and half and was very disappointed. The milk had immediately separated or curdled in the cup. When I brought it to the barista I was told that happens all the time and to stir it. Well, it got way worse and was to the point the coffee was not even drinkable a few minutes later when I left.

This is a chain of coffee houses in the area. As a result, I am commenting only on this specific one. Starting with the drinks. This may be a heresy, but I ordered a black tea, which I thought was very good. I ordered the Hangover sandwich (eggs, bacon, and ham on whole wheat) and I was amazed out how fresh and robust it was. I definitely recommend! I also ordered a few pastries (banana and choc trip lof slice and a croissant). In all honesty, these last two were OK, and I wouldnt actually recommend them unless you really have a sweet tooth and need something alongside your drink.

matcha was awful, so watery & basically undrinkable. it was also $9 ?! for a medium ??! the service was lack luster - the 2 girls working there couldn't even offer up a smile to me and my friend, but were completely different to the male customer behind me :/ disappointing, will not be back.

Haven't had Buddy Brew in quite some time, but was looking for some holiday vibes where I could sit and work on Christmas Eve. Location: - This location is great if you want to stroll around a little, grab a bite to eat, do some shopping, etc. If you're looking for a quiet spot to do work, bring headphones. Because this location is in the middle of Hyde Park Village, it's busy! Service: - The service was great. Staff and friendly and given how busy this location is, I got my drink quickly. Coffee: - I ordered a hot lavender latte. The flavor was delicious. The latte was well made and not incredible hot where you have to wait forever to drink it. Overall, nice spot, would come back.
I've gone to this place for a while to get a drip coffee and i like the atmosphere, the workers are nice. It's been my go-to spot for a couple years now.However, they've raised their price of a basic drip coffee and most recently i was charged $4 for a reg (it's like 12 oz) and that's just too much for me. Everything else is great and i wish they didn't raise their price beyond $3 for a drip.

Solid little coffee spot in beautiful Hyde Park Village. Good coffee and good selection. Can get very crowded -jostling level, line out the door crowded - and service is generally good but not overly enthusiastic.

Not an amazing experience. I had the ‘Hyde park’ sandwich ant it tasted very weird! they used a very cheap store bought cheese (the one that each slice has separate packaging) and they add peppers that give the whole sandwich a pretty bad aftertaste!! I didn't cancel the order because I waited fifteen minutes for it and I was really hungry so I nibbled parts of it- also what’s with the chips for breakfast? What happened to some good old green leaves...? the only reason I gave them 2 stars is because the coffee was nice. Try to do better next time.

This was my first time at a Buddy Brew and it was ok. My cousin and I met dor breakfast and this is close to where she lives and where kI had to be later that day. I was deciding between quiche and a sandwich and went with the quiche because it sounded good. It was just ok. Mostly crust, good crust but still, I could hardly taste the eggs much less the leeks and other ingredients that made me order it. My cousin's BLT looked much better. As for coffee, I ordered an iced pumpkin spice latte. Call me basic if you must but I freaking love pumpkin and all things fall. Anyway, could hardly taste the pumpkin or spice. I am kind of a coffee junky who gets coffee at the big chains, local chains and small mom and pop places and I make iced coffee at home with flavored creamer as well so to me, the coffee was the most important thing. Again, it was ok.

Wonderful aromas as soon as you enter. Great staff and food selection (sandwiches, muffins, cakes and more). Coffee beverages iced and warm were divine! Delicious high quality food and baked goods. Would definitely recommend!
