Buddy Brew came to my job today for Valentine’s Day. The coffee was rich, smooth, and beautifully balanced. Bold enough to satisfy without being overpowering, it delivered deep flavor in every sip. The aroma was just as inviting as the taste, making the whole experience feel comforting and indulgent. A perfect choice for anyone who truly appreciates a well-crafted cup of coffee.

I am a loyal customer of Buddy Brew. I love the atmosphere, and the customer service. Yes, the baristas are not super cheerful but they don't have to. They do their job and they are good at it. They even bring your food on your table. What I LOVE about this place is I can come with my dog. I visit so frequently I am acquainted with the baristas and some other frequent customers. It is a home-like environment for me. I also love their coffee and other beverages. The food is average though. I sometimes have their sandwich if I want to stay longer. They bring potato chips or a slice of orange as a side, and the sandwich is pretty poor of ingredients. I don't mind though, as I am there for the coffee and atmosphere.

I love this location, the company Buddy Brew is very inconsistent from location to location but this is one that is amazing no matter who is working or when I go in. They are very knowledgeable about their menu and the “best” options available.

I have gone to buddy brew in hyde park and absolutely loved my experience there. The Kennedy location is was met with nothing but hostility and mean looks. They also did not make my drink right, which i have gotten at hyde park so I know what it should taste like. I got 2 drinks one with milk and one with oat, and they wouldn't tell me which was which. Wouldn't recommend this location.

First time there....the person who took my order was nice and helpful however I waited a long time for my order of 2 coffees and a sausage biscuit. They actually forgot about my coffees, and the sausage biscuit I ended up throwing away as it was terrible, hard and not tasty at all. My coffee was alright but I wouldn't order again. Needless to say, I won't be back.

Great coffee and tea experience here today with a cappuccino and hot green tea. Great service for made to order beverages. We passed on the great array of pastries and lunch options.
The venue offers merch and bagged coffee to extend your Buddy Brew experience at home.
The background músic was soft initially and then increased to a volume that still allows conversation.

Free street parking parallel style is available to augment the very small parking lot that is often crowded.
The bicycle rack out front offers plenty of room for those who choose to ride up
Lighting is adequate for working for visit visiting and enjoying coffee

I came here to order a hot chocolate only. I was craving a good Belgian hot chocolate in a place where they would steam the milk right and it would hopefully not be made out of chocolate syrup. While I couldn’t see how it was made, I can definitely say it was well done, European (Belgian style). In my opinion, they could use a bit stronger chocolate to get a bit richer flavor, but for me, it was perfect. This is not the typical hot chocolate that you get in other places where it is extremely sweet, is not meant to be this way. The milk was steamed to perfection, and the second picture you can see how the foam stays in the cup after drinking it, which is exactly what is supposed to happen.

I give it a 7/10, but a 9/10 for the US, as it is pretty rare for a place to do it this way.

I stopped into Buddy Brew Coffee and tried the iced sugar cookie matcha. As sweet as it sounds, it was surprisingly well-balanced—not overwhelming at all, just sweet enough to really enjoy without feeling heavy.
The ambience is great too. The space is open and thoughtfully laid out, so you don’t feel cramped, and it’s genuinely a solid spot for studying or getting work done. Overall, a cozy, welcoming café with drinks that definitely impressed me. Would recommend.
