Byblos is a wonderful neighborhood Mediterranean restaurant. The food is terrific and the service is very good. Last night we had the scallop entree, kale salad w tuna, chicken shawarma , grape leaves and baba ghanoush. All the dishes were delicious. Plus we were not rushed and were able to talk w our friends. A lovely evening.
We enjoyed a great happy hour that was BOGO on drinks until 6pm, on a Friday! The food was great and it came out quickly.
Always love eating here. The food is consistently great and the service is always very good. LOVE Olivia- the bartender/so much more. She is always smiling and very friendly and gives you the best service. Such a hard worker and so dedicated to her job.
As always an A++ experience. One of the few restaurants that I trust with the quality ingredients they use.
Supposed to be a special birthday dinner. Was not. Appetizer was good. Entree, seafood pasta was dry and sticky. Would not recommend for a special dinner.
If you go get the eggplant appetizer, it was actually one of the best appetizers we have ever had anywhere. Lamb chops good too. Seafood was good but calamari overcooked and octopus a little too well done, but good flavor. Fish good flavor. Price is high but not an issue if all of the items were good. We will be back now that we know what to get, it's a great location!
The best eggplant dishes ever!
I was there on a Wednesday evening. Not too busy and sat in the bar area. Bartender was very attentive, food was great and had an overall great experience.
Food was good depending on what each guest had. I had the grilled octopus. The octopus was delicious and perfectly cooked. It accompanied roasted potatoes with a yellow sauce that was great but weirdly, it also has a marinara sauce that tasted like a bad jar sauce. Others had lamb and beef kabobs. The proteins were good but again the vegetables and sides not so great. Lentil soup underwhelming and humus disappointing. The restaurant had a cold atmosphere. Overall for a place where the average price paid for main dish is $30 I can say we will not come back. This is the sentiment for all three families.
I had dinner with my son and mother on Saturday in the early evening. The music was a little loud, I'm sure to set the vibe. Server was fast and polite, appetizers and entrees arrived quickly. Hummus and pita (very light and unlike any pita I've ever had) was delicious. Kabob and shawarma was served without rice which was strange, but the meats were nicely seasoned. The steamed veggies served on the side were unexpectedly bland. My son had the grilled octopus which came with only two small pieces and was served strangely with what looked and tasted like deep-fried breakfast potatoes. Again, no rice. Overall, the meal wasn't bad, but there were some atypical sides that we didn't expect in a Lebanese restaurant.

We were positively impressed by the quality of the food. A great display of Mediterranean dishes (mainly Greek). I'd highlight the hummus and the lamb gyro. The service was impeccable
The restaurant is fantastic. Food, service & atmosphere is outstanding. They are a hidden gem in Tampa Bay.
Food was delicious, drinks were also delicious and the presentation of the dishes and drinks was phenomenal. Service was great, and I will be back! The chicken shawarma was the best I've had.
I love the food at Byblos. It's very tasty and they have a great selection. Try their beef and chicken shawerma. Their appetizers are all yummy 👌 We also enjoyed the drinks. Their fig martini. It's great 👍👍 Our server Phoenix was excellent.
Very tasty food, with great choices including gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options. The hot eggplant appetizer is amazing. Portions are huge. Both the grouper and salmon are delicious. Service is very friendly
