I'm in town for the FMEA Conference and was walking to a restaurant further from the convention center because Google didn't mention this place. However, I saw the sign and stopped by. The Cuban sandwich was lovely, and the Kahwa coffee was outstanding (as usual). It's maybe a bit pricey, but compared to the ridiculous prices at the convention center, this was well worth the short walk.
The ambiance is really cozy, you can feel a vintage aura and it also, gives a private feeling since its not as huge, like the other cafes or restaurant in the city which turns out to be quite overrated.
Can not say enough about my first experience at Cafe 124! Enjoyed a casual lunch on the porch and loved all parts of the meal -- from the food (delicious sandwich and fresh fruit) to the service -- everything exceeded expectations
