I want to grab coffee and Cuban bread for breakfast. I'm never in that area but thought I'd check it out as I was passing through. Walking in, it felt like a cozy Cafe that I'd probably go to with my friends for coffee. The weight staff was very pleasant and quickly took my order to go. The coffee was a little weaker than the other Caribbean places I have visited. However, the Cuban bread was tasty and perfectly buttered. Overall I'd go back again.

The food is soooo good. From the egg sandwich, to the rice and beans. Their cuban sandwich is the real deal. Everything on their menu is perfect. Sandwiches just like in Brooklyn and Miami! They also pay close attention to special instructions if you list them like add mayo. I order from here weekly! ? Get you a delicious cup of cafe con leche!

My husband and came here often when we first moved to the Carrollwood area. We have recently started coming again and remembered how awesome it is. We’ve mostly done breakfast, so we’ll have to come try lunch because I’m sure it’s just as good!

We ordered Chicken Croquetas, 2 Deviled Crab Cakes, Sunrise Fold on Cuban Bread with extra ham, Sunrise Fold on Cuban Bread with chicken, espresso, a small cafe con leche, a large cafe con leche & guava cheese pastry. Our Waitress Alonda was on point! Good food for the price! Check them out!

Great little spot with a good selection on their menu, surprisingly it was full of diners upon arrival so it demonstrates the quality of the location due to them being at full capacity. Different age groups were observed so it appeals to all sorts of people. The service was great and food was delicious. Definitely recommend them for breakfast and lunch and the prices were very reasonable. Check them out for yourselves.

Great food, great people. One of the few restaurants that don’t rip you off with inflation.
Talk about a staple that's been around for 20 years, I had the veggie omelet with a large cafe con leche, that was fantastic and the service was good too. Definitely stop in and get a lot of bang for the buck.

Our dining experience took a turn for the worse when our food arrived. We had ordered a midnight sandwich and a breakfast with eggs over easy, but the dishes were prepared incorrectly. The sandwich came without pork, only ham and lettuce, and the eggs were overcooked and well done, rather than over easy. To make matters worse, our server never returned to our table to address the issues or deliver the latte that came with the breakfast. After waiting 30 minutes, we had to take the initiative to pay ourselves. When we brought the mistakes to the attention of the staff, they showed little concern and barely acknowledged the issues. The server simply removed the latte from the bill without apologizing or offering any explanation. It was clear that there was a lack of professionalism in both the dining room and the kitchen, as they seemed unfamiliar with basic menu items like the midnight sandwich and eggs over easy.

Everything was fine until the food arrived. We had ordered a midnight sandwich and a breakfast with over easy eggs. The sandwich came without the pork, just ham and lettuce, and the eggs were very soft, they left it and never returned to the table again, they didn't bring the coffee with milk that came with breakfast. After having spent 30 minutes waiting for someone we had to get up to pay because no one came to the table, we explained it to the person we found and he didn't even apologize to us, he just removed the coffee with milk from the bill and that's it. Lack of professionalism in the living room and in the kitchen, those who do not know what a midnight is or some over-easy eggs.

Ordered from Uber Eats so i'm not able to rate the inside area.
We ordered 2 large breakfast sandwiches, 1st one was scrambled eggs + cheese & the 2nd one was scrambled eggs + cheese + bacon. The sandwiches were delicious.
We ordered a side of home fries. They were crispy and tasty.
We had a promo on uber eats so we ordered an extra item, a breakfast platter named "cafe caribe special". In this breakfast platter we chose scrambled eggs, corned beef hash & a large cafe con leche (& comes with a side of cuban toast).
The coffee did not come with any sugar in it and there were no sugar options on uber eats. (Normally cafe con leche already comes with the sugar in it anywhere else i've ordered, as standard) That's okay i have sugar at home handy.
The eggs were fine, as expected they came unsalted like many other diners w/ salt & pepper pack on the side.
The corn beef has was a totaly different experience for me. It was more red in color than i'm used to. It looks & smells like it was made with tomato sauce and maybe something pickled (or vinegar), maybe Sazón?. The smell was overpowering but it tasted great, actually.
All in all i just wanted to share my personal experience with you all.
For the restaurant i just have that 1 little tip for your Uber Eats store. Mentioning next to the cafe con leche that it is made with milk+sugar in it as standard, or adding milk+sugar options (unless the waiter just forgot to put it in my coffee then disregard this tip)
Would i return and/or reorder? Yes
Thank you for everything you all do!
