Unfortunately we did not have a good experience. Not busy at all when we got there but after we were seated, no one came to bring a menu, etc. Had to ask for menus after about 15 min. I ordered a chalupa, they brought out a tostada swimming in grease on the plate. The tamale masa was so dense and rubbery it was inedible.

The food is really great. The prices however, are not so great.
We got the cantina sampler appetizer and the steak with 2 sides. I ordered a side of rice and beans and was charged almost SEVEN dollars. The portion of rice and beans for this price, is ludicrous.
With that said, the food is authentic and delicious. I just feel it's overpriced.

We love the fajitas here! Lunch specials are good, food is always tasty, and we try to swing by whenever we’re close.

Good food. Fresh. Good service. But boy is it expensive. Lunch + 1 beer .. cost me $39. My mistake though, didnt specify lunch portion. But shouldn't that be obvious?
Also you have to find the door to enter. It's literally camouflaged dark colors.

My husband and i went last night, was sat down at a table instantly. We waited 15 minutes and still no one came to take our order for drinks or food. Was passed by several times. Then another family came in and they brought them chips and salsa. Thats when we finally gave up and walked out. Smh. We have been here in the past and started seeing a decline but that was the topper for us never to go back.

Had high hopes for the place since it’s close by my house. However the margaritas are okay. It smells really bad in here exactly like a sewer system. I honestly don’t know how I sat in here also the chicken quesadillas are served very watery will not return I rather drive a little further up the street to better restaurants 🙂

Cinco De Mayo- you just need Mexican Food and a Margarita! We were pleasantly surprised at the short wait before being seated. The food was reasonably priced, we had a friendly server and the DJ was fun, too. The restaurant was busy but we still didn't have to wait long for our food which was pretty good, too. I love Chile Relleno and I don't make that well at home so it's always good to find a place where they serve a good one. The tacos were pretty good, too and served with nice sauces. The only thing that I didn't like- we were served a bowl of chips that salsa had been spilled on- it made them kind of soggy and the server was aware of it and commented on it but didn't offer to replace. The food was good, the atmosphere was festive. We will definitely go there again.
This place pencil whips the heck out of you. They tell you they have two for one beers, but they charge eight dollars for a draft beer! Absolutely ridiculous do not go here.

The place look really clean even the restroom. I love the music they were playing nostalgic latino/Hispanic vibes. Food was decent. Sometimes when you have a great services your food is more enjoyable. But here was not the case. The service was bad. The ladies we interacted with had piss off face/mood. (Including our server)
I'm sorry but we won't be coming back.

Great authentic Mexican food. Have tried something from each category on the menu and never have been disappointed. Good size portions for the price and quality of food, attentive service even when very busy! Nice job team :)

The owner was so kind to our students and our school! Thank you for helping us with our event! - Tampa Language Center
The reason I am leaving this review is not the food. Food was ok. The service though… was awful! The restaurant was almost empty, there were about 3-4 tables including ours. My husband asked for tajin for the beer he ordered and it never arrived. We asked for chips, food got there and still no chips. The server didn’t come, not once, to see if we needed anything else. Never was offered a refill for my drink or nothing. After I asked for the bill, I noticed it said 2 for 1 under the beer my husband ordered. She NEVER mentioned anything so I asked, and only after I asked she said the beer were 2 for 1 and asked my husband if he wanted another one. So not only she didn’t give us a service at all besides taking our order but she was shady too. We always tip at least 18%, if the service is great we tip even more than that, that day I felt she didn’t deserve a tip so we didn't. To our surprise she still added a tip and charged the card a higher amount that was approved by us. We called the restaurant and the “owner” said he would investigate and call us back. The charge was never fixed and we never got a call either. It’s been a few weeks already. Shady people!!! Lost clients that gave them business almost every week. Never again!
