Not very busy on a Saturday night, however, it took a while for 5 plates of pasta to come out. The Tampa Mojito did not have much flavor to it & the spaghetti and clams were a bit on the sweet side. An ok dinning experience in my opinion, would rather try another place next time.

We were seated right away, even though we were late for our reservation, our waitress was very courteous and caring that we were happy with our meal. We both ordered the cuban pork roast dinner entrée. The seasoning in the rice and beans was delicious, but pork was very dry, and I kept having to add the juice from the rice to it.

As an Ybor resident that eats at a lot of places in the area, absolutely fantastic.

One of the best Cuban Sandwiches in the Tampa Bay area. Great food, reasonable prices and friendly staff. We’ll be back again and again.

Wow, food and service were absolutely amazing!! I ordered the burger which was supposed to be 8oz but I’m pretty sure they gave me a whole lb! lol. Seasoned perfectly, cooked right, and juicy!! Fries were crispy and tasty and paired really well with the spicy aioli! Everyone else in my party enjoyed their food as well. Service was excellent and attentive. Will definitely be back next time we’re in town!!

Food was reasonably priced. Fried Calamari was excellent and plentiful. The food could have been seasoned a little more. The Oil and Garlic pasta with chicken needed more garlic. But it was very good. The Chicken Marsala was delicious The staff was friendly and efficient. We were there early for dinner, so it was quiet. The building inside was nice and the bar was huge. Plenty of seats inside and out We will definitely go back to taste more of their dishes.

We stopped by this Italian restaurant with a Cuban twist and everything was delicious. I had the Chicken Parmesan with a Caesar salad and an Espresso Martini — all were great. My husband ordered the Cuban sandwich and a soup, which he really enjoyed. The only thing we didn’t care for was the mango mojito, but our waiter was kind enough to replace it with a regular one. Excellent customer service and overall experience. Highly recommend if you’re in the Ybor area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Carmine's - excellent, attentive, friendly, quick service and really fantastic food. We had the Calamari and the Tomatoes Carmine (bruschetta on cuban toast, brilliant!) for starters - both delicious. We shared the Chicken Piccata - super tender chicken - and the Roast Pork - possibly one of the juiciest and savoriest (made that up) roast pork I've had. The food would have been enough on it's own, but our server, Gail, was the icing on the cake. Kudos and we will be back!

I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. food was lousy.. calamari deep fried n artificial calamari 😩 soggy salad, nasty beef lasagna. How this restaurant survived all these years is beyond me.

This review is a hard one to write. The chef was just a prince of a fellow and said hello to all patrons. Our server, Nick was so friendly and could speak 3 languages, for those that would to order in another language. The Cuban sandwich was plentiful, however, the selection of using sweet tasting ham, really threw the sandwich off. The sandwich could have been served warm, as well. The natural cut fries were perfectly cooked, and delicious.
Las Palmas still has the most authentic Cuban sandwich. Also, the sandwich at Carmine’s is served by itself, everything seemed à la cart on the menu.
The most outstanding Flan for dessert is the best in the state. Due to this restaurant being in Ybor city, it’s best to go early , like late afternoon for dinner, then be on your way.
