Casa Mexicana Restaurant

The food here is by far some of the most authentic that the Tampa area has to offer. It's very, very good. I was going to give it four stars, because the service is extremely slow, but the food is so good that I just had to give it five. If you don't speak Spanish, language can be a bit of a barrier. The interior is stripped down, no frills, but the prices are hard to beat.

Food arrived not properly packaged beans we all over the bags and other Togo boxes
They sent 2 regular cokes (we ordered diet Coke)
All of this can be forgiven but when I called to remind the situation they asked how far we lived and then hung up on me.
Mistakes are made and always will be it's how you recover
Either credit us back what we paid or replace with the correct item.

Horrible meat hoe Nome expected this after 8 years
Dry meat without flavor you can call it. And the carnitas, they look like the kind of meat they sell already made at Walmart "BEEF JERKY"???
So I went but the owner was not there... I wanted her to take the plate back and it was already in the trash... and the person had told me that I could go back with the receipt and I could get another order... then I went and that They had scolded the boy who wasn't like that blah blah... I won't go there again... I don't care what they say too

There were roaches on the wall. No joke had to kill it with my chancla. Food was a little salty. Had to keep getting up to the front for any requests. A little expensive. Positive thing is the food came out quick.

Terrible!!! Bad service, the waitress was over the top. No authentic Mexican food, Terrible there is no other word, the prices are very high, the sauces are like they were from last week.

I was picking up a door dash and the staff was very nice. My husband tried the food a few months back and said it was amazing! I definitely will be back as a customer to indulge.

I'll assume I had a uniquely poor experience but I cannot recommend this restaurant.

The carnita tacos had multiple bone fragments, one large about the size of a 6 sided dice ?. The steak taco had a lot of grissel. No chips or dip. None was even offered. I felt the price for the food was too high as well.

Overall appearance reminded me of an old school lunchroom.

I won't return unfortunately.
