Reviewed on Yelp almost a year ago. Just wanted to add my rating here. Full review is on Yelp.I do not understand the hype of this restaurant. I visited this establishment almost a year ago, and I swore to never return. The customer service was TERRIBLE. We felt like an inconvenience rather than guests. The food was not good. We were all unimpressed. And I had to ask 3 different servers for my drink. I eventually got it AFTER I was almost done with my appetizer and meal. It was just terrible. I wanted to just run.We shouldn’t have to chase down a waiter or keep asking different staff members about our appetizers and drinks that we ordered. The waitress had major attitude. I notice that other reviews are similar. Not sure where y’all hire your staff, but maybe rethink your hiring strategy. Because poor customer service will definitely ruin this restaurant.

Really cool place, we sat at the outside bar and really enjoyed our time. The bartenders were attentive and they were all really nice. We were in town for the hockey game and the staff were good sports about it, with sharing jokes back and forth. The food was really good as well and came out quickly. A good hit and would definitely recommend you check it out.

I came here once and I don’t think that I will go back. The food was good but service wasn’t the best. They sat us down and the table and seats were dirty and sticky. This was very offsetting. We also waited a while to get waters for the table and no one was hardly in there. They do have valet which is cool that’s $7 and when you bring your ticket inside, you get $5 off of your meal so you only end up paying $2 for parking.

It was convenient to do an online reservation. We were seated within 5 minutes of that time. It wasn't busy, and a few tables cleared, so it was odd we had to wait. Once seated, the food was amazing ?. It was a calm atmosphere. Wait staff was friendly. It seems the cook brings out the meals ?\\u200d? The presentation of each dish was beautifully done and well thought out. If you are looking for a beautiful meal, this is the place. The wings' appetizers was only a few pieces and average taste.

Overall we had a good experience at Cask. The customer service from the bartender fixing our sangria was top tier. The food was okay. Biscuits for the chicken sliders were on the dry side. I had eggs Benedict but did it over potatoes instead of a muffin. Potatoes seemed to not be too fresh. Third meal was an omelet and grits. Grits were noted to be the best we've had at brunch so far. Set up was interesting, much smaller in person than online but it is cute. I would sit outside next time.

Service was awful lol. Never received one water refill for my family. The food, I can only speak for my plate. Steak was chewing and bland. Expectations lead to disappointments. Disappointed is what I received.

I think they may have been short staffed but there didn't seem to be any sense of urgency here. Was sat 27 mins after our reservation. Took 30 mins to get our first drinks brought to the table. Entrees didn't hit until 9 pm. Was never offered the option to order more drinks. Was out of 2 of the 3 items I ordered. Restaurant was only half full but we'd go 15-20 mins without seeing a bartender or server. Once again I think this came down to being understaffed. Good quality was still good although service was lacking.

We had a work dinner there with many folks from out of town. The food was hit and miss. The ribs were not fall off the bone and two guests ordered them. The mashed potatoes lacked seasoning... it was unfortunate as the menu look great. The team did enjoy the old fashioned when the bartender Olivia made them.

I enjoy going to cask! On this last visit I ordered the breakfast bowl and it lacked seasoning / flavor. Our waitress was nice but did not come by very often requiring my table to wait or ask someone else. I will definitely go back because they have a good menu and atmosphere!

Service just okay. Seemed like the restaurant was a bit understaffed for a Friday night. Made a reservation but had to wait almost twenty minutes for a table. Food was a pretty good for value. Overall, would meet friends here but wouldn't go out of my way to come back.

It's cute, not fancy, almost like an upscale version of Sonny's Barbecue. We were seated for quite a while before someone came over to take the drink order. The drinks were slow to come and then it took a while for someone to take our order. We were told that the good had "just come out of the smoker" so it wouldn't take long..... it took a while. The food was great however. We had to ask for cinnamon twice as well as the barbecue sauce. All in all it wasn't bad but not great either. Not sure I would go out of my way to go there again but if I'm in the neighborhood and want that type of food, I know where to go..... as long as I'm not in a hurry.

It was extremely loud in the restaurant, I literally could not hear the person sitting right next to me due to obnoxious guests. One of the servers kept scraping the chairs on the floor repeatedly adding to the noise, it was dreadful.

We had a great time for an early New Years Eve dinner. Service was terrific. Waitress was very friendly. Food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Portions were large and flavorful. We will definitely be back!

Went for the first time today, very busy but of course its a Sat. around noon but I was lucky to get a seat for a party of two right away. Had a great experience. Got the shrimp and grits, it was great and tasty. Will be back.

This is an interesting place with a unique upstairs downstairs layout. Nice menu with enough choices to keep you happy. Decent drink menu as well plus the Holiday specials in the photos. Our server was great and right on top of things. Sorry to hear it's her last day as she moves onto bigger and better things. The corn bread appetizer was excellent along with the 3 spreads available. The scallops and grit cakes was good but the scallops could have been done a little bit better. The brisket Mac and cheese was very good except our order wound up a table over and they dove right in knowing they had not ordered it. That left the scallops on the table for 15 minutes waiting for the second meal to arrive. The end of the world no but annoying yes. All in all a good place to check out.
