Catering by Robert was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! From the very beginning, Susan made the planning process seamless and stress-free. I had a vision in my head, and after our design meeting, she and her team executed it perfectly—every detail was thought through with such care and precision. Susan has such a warm and welcoming presence, and her years of experience in the industry truly shine through. She anticipated details I never would have thought of and made sure everything was absolutely flawless.

One of the highlights of working with Catering by Robert was the food. Having the opportunity to attend multiple group tastings allowed us to craft the perfect menu, and it paid off in the best way. Throughout the night, guests kept coming up to us saying, ‘This is the best food at a wedding I’ve ever had!’ Everything was cooked to perfection, beautifully presented, and full of flavor.

Beyond just the food, Susan was incredibly responsive throughout the entire process. She answered every question with patience, support, and enthusiasm, making us feel completely taken care of. We hired Catering by Robert for my daughter’s wedding and were thoroughly impressed. The food was good and the staff were amazing. The price was very reasonable and not only did it include dinner, but also a “day of” coordinator and all the table decorating! They set everything up for us and took everything down and cleaned up. Excellent communication and very professional. It also included several full meal tastings ahead of the wedding. We highly recommend.

One of the highlights of working with this company was attending their group tastings. These events, held every few months, gave us the chance to sample a wide variety of dishes and helped us create the perfect menu for our big day.

Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the food! The appetizers were a particular hit—everyone loved the coconut shrimp and mini red stuffed potatoes. The presentation and flavors were absolutely top-notch.

Susan’s staff was kind, professional, and attentive throughout the entire event. The bartenders were also fantastic—friendly, efficient, and kept the drinks flowing smoothly all night long.

When you sign a contract with Catering by Robert, you become part of their family while you're planning a wedding. Susan, who runs the operation, makes you feel like you're the only wedding they're planning.
You'll be invited to bi-monthly tastings from signing until your wedding. We had no doubt that the menu we were choosing was reflective of exactly what we wanted.
You'll also attend a design meeting with their team to ensure that the tables you're presenting match your vision.
....and when you change your mind or have any questions, Susan is only a phone call away.
They also double as your on-site coordinator for the day, which was a huge help and weight off of our shoulders.
For any large events moving forward, Catering by Robert will consistently be our first choice!

Catering by Robert is an absolute must have caterer for your event. When my husband and I began planning our wedding in 2023, we were overwhelmed by the endless choices. Shortly into our search we connected with Susan at Catering by Robert and immediately felt a connection. During the initial tasting at their design studio, Susan was very informative, inviting and shared in our excitement. It felt like we were talking to family. From that moment on we knew our search was complete. Throughout the planning process, Susan and her team offered more than your standard catering package. Multiple group tastings, consistent communications and a design meeting to plan our linens, table arrangements and displays, all which the team sets up day of. Catering by Robert assisted with day of coordination far beyond the food and drinis. Our coordinator, Maryn, was there to help every step of the way helping with ceremony processions, ensuring our wedding party had drinks and snacks before cocktail hour and much more. The food we chose was absolutely incredible. We had endless compliments from friends and family on how wonderful everything tasted. Even better for us, they packaged up all of the leftover food for us to take home and enjoy. We could not be happier with everything Susan, Maryn and the entire Catering by Robert team helped us with and it was a pleasure getting work alongside them to ensure our day went as smooth as possible and executed even better than we imagined. Would highly recommend for any event!

Food is one of the most important elements of a wedding, and our food was excellent. Catering by Robert’s service and food were excellent and all of our guests kept going back for more! We went with their buffet option and I’m so glad we did! No one left hungry! Susan was beyond amazing, making sure there were food and drinks brought to the bridal suite after the ceremony. They served us first but because we were making rounds to say hello to all of our guests, our food went cold and they immediately brought us out another plate. There was SO MUCH FOOD. Some fan favorites were the mojo pork, sweet and sour chicken, the mashed potatoes, and pasta. Susan also provided the charger plates and other decor items at no additional cost which was AMAZING. Thank you so much for everything!

I must say that Susan and her staff made our wedding absolutely fabulous. The table decorations were beautiful, the food was amazing and the service was outstanding. I will definitely use catering by Robert again and again.

When my fiance and I began our journey as an engaged couple, we realized we didn't know a thing about planning a wedding. We live in Sweden and wanted to have our ceremony in my hometown of Clearwater, Florida- which was a lot of planning to do from across the pond. Susan at Catering By Robert not only went above and beyond to understand exactly what we wanted to do, but worked tirelessly to ensure that we would get our perfect day within the budget that we wanted.

That's not even including the food, decoration, and coordination- all of which were absolutely stellar. I'm genuinely not sure what we would have done without them- and my (now) husband and I both agree that our wedding may well have been the best day of our lives. Everything was perfect.

We are also continuously hearing after the fact how well-coordinated everything was, in addition to how amazing the food turned out to be. If you're a couple looking for the all-in-one complete package for your wedding, we cannot recommend Catering By Robert enough. They are truly next level for the value that you get.

5 wonderful stars for Catering by Robert! We had the privilege of working with Susan and her team for our wedding in April. This is a very professional group and so fun to work with! Susan has such knowledge of the industry and provided great recommendations for other vendors for us to use.

The food that we selected for the wedding was simply amazing. I highly recommend their Tuscan Chicken! I also liked working with Catering by Robert as it was VERY easy to cater to our vegan guests. We were able to do separate plates for them and then “normal” food for everyone else.

Susan is so easy to work with. I greatly appreciate all the help and detail that she put into my wedding. I highly recommend them for your next event!

We're from Florida, but planned our wedding almost entirely from our new home of Virginia. Even though we were long-distance, it was a breeze- Susan was communicative, informative and wise during the entire 10-month process prior to our wedding. She made great recommendations and was always looking for a way to make things easier for us! On our wedding day, we were blown away with the kindness and professionalism of the entire catering staff. And people are still telling us how the food was the best food they'd had at a wedding in a long time--which is a huge compliment, considering we had several guests who work in restaurants and hospitality! (You MUST do the shrimp creole--it was the star of our buffet) (P.S. In the spirit of full disclosure, I am married to the other person who most recently reviewed Catering by Robert...but we both really wanted to share our thoughts!)
