I typically choose to eat Charley's at MacDill's BX as a last resort. Often time the food is bland, you'd be surprised how much salt and pepper do when its not present. And to add insult to injury, the preparation is often times haphazard with little care or concern. I find this pretty disturbing. It's akin to slop being thrown in a bowl and dropped in front of you. Add this to the barely there customer service, most times I'll eat an MRE before choosing this Charley's.

Charley's was in a food court, so you can toss out the "atmosphere" rating. The bourbon cheesesteak was tasty, but played heck with my stomach later. The fries were excellent.

Have the opportunity to enjoy a classic Charlie steak sub.. with extra mushrooms extra onions and extra meat.. literally blew my mind with flavor.. everything was delicious authentic and the steak was super tender. The staff was super helpful and friendly.. could not ask for a better
