Celebrated a late Valentine’s dinner here with my girlfriend and we both thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Adonis was our server and he made our experience even better with his personal touch and great knowledge and recommendations on the menu. Everything we had from start to finish was absolutely delicious. We split the 50oz porterhouse and it was definitely one of the best steaks I have ever had super flavorful and juicy and cooked to perfection. Thanks again Adonis for making our dinner such a wonderful time!

I had been craving steak for days while here and our friends suggested Charley’s. We thought we were out of luck because we didn’t have reservations…. We got a drink and put our names on the list for the bar… We were blessed to get a high table🙌🏼 Derrick was our host and he was excellent. The hostesses at the front were wonderful! They assisted in getting us a place to sit. Thank you all. This was our first visit but certainly not the last. Texans salute to Tampa 🫡

In my own opinion this place was fabulous I ordered the lobster bisque and some mashed potatos, the bisque was stunning except it was a bit thick and I couldn't finish it. The mashed potatoes were also spectacular but there was a lot of skin. The service was reminding me of Disney, they were in character, and respectful, kind and attentive. The atmosphere was also stunning we were beside a window, by nature, very good to look into. I recommend this place, it was fabulous I would definitely go again!

My party of 4 was disappointed overall with our first time experience here at Charley's. The wait staff was very friendly and courteous and the drinks were good. It did take a long time for the bread to come out to our table. We ordered the gator and calamari for appetizers and both were very good. For shared sides, we ordered the cauliflower which was probably the best cauliflower we've ever had. We also ordered the lobster mac and cheese and au gratin potatoes - both of which came to the table barely warm, even kind of 'cold' or more like room temperature in the center of each dish. Given the temperature, they both were very tasty anyway. The big disappointment was with the porterhouse steaks. My friend and I both ordered the 24 ounce cooked medium and both of them came out very red, even maroon in certain spots. They were not cooked medium all the way through and instead of bringing it back to the kitchen for more fire, i didn't even say anything and packed it up for my dog. At over $700 for 4 people, we definitely left the restaurant feeling disappointed. In my opinion, when paying that kind of money for dinner, everything needs to be delicious and cooked to perfection. We simply did not taste the 'premium' in the steaks. Perhaps it was because it was super busy for Valentine's Day or maybe we simply didn't get good cuts since some are better than others. It will be a hard sell to get me to come back to Charley's of Tampa. If I was the owner of this business, I would certainly want to know if any of my guests had this type of experience.

I made a reservation but was running alittle late on time however I was seated within 3/4mins. My waitress was Marino he was extremely helpful, walked me through the menu and helped me pick out a steak. He has such a warm comforting spirit.

The broccolini was way too tough and stemmy. Probably the worst vegetable I've been seved at a high end restaurant. My colleague likes her Salmon and thought it was excellent. My wine was very good. My ribeye steak ordered medium rare was unusually overcooked on the outside. I've never before had a steak edge be too tough and chewy while being also medium rare. I've been to other Charley's and the steaks were always excellent.

Amazing experience. Our server, Kelli, was 5 stars all the way from the time we sat down til we left. She treated us like a King and Queen amd was very informative plus the whole staff was friendly as we walked to our booth. The food was amazing....the steak was awesome and the cheesy rolls and the cake were perfection! We will definitely be back. 😋

First off - the service was excellent! Our servers provided us with outstanding service and never missed a beat. We were even (unexpectedly) provided with a private room, which really added to the specialness of the occasion. The only downside for us was the lobster. Four in our group (including myself) ordered the 1-lb lobster tail, but we were served plates of lobster pieces... not lobster tails. This was a very big disappointment, especially considering the price we paid. In addition to that, the lobster pieces were tough and bland tasting. Fortunately, the rest of the meal was very good. This would easily have been a 5-star review if not for the lobster pieces.
