Amazing place for salad, steaks, apps. The free bread with cinnamon butter is amazinggg. Highly recommend sitting in Lloyd's area. He's an awesome guy! BBQ sauce is really good!
Value for moneyEdit: Our go to local neighborhood steak house really disappointed us last night. Expected a price increase due to inflation and wasn't too shocked to see my normal order price up 35%.What I was served was a large 22oz of fat. I tried to eat some of it but ended up taking it home in pieces for my dogs. The waiter Max was nice but obviously could tell the steak wasn't even enjoyed due to the amount if uneaten fat still in my plate.Very, very disappointed and with money tight, will choose somewhere else when we can afford to eat out once a month now.Just thoroughly disappointed.Probably won't be back anytime soon.Sorry, but take a look at what you're serving, it was obviously sub par and should have never been given to customer. Yes, it was that bad.

Special shout out to our waiter JD. The restaurant was short staffed the night we came and JD seemed a little overwhelmed, but he didn’t let it affect the level of service he provided. He ensured we had refills and everything we needed, checking on us several times. He was very kind. Thank you JD, give him a raise!

Cody's in Countryside closed, so we came here. I love getting the small bags of peanuts and making a mess on their floor with the peanut shells. I ordered a drink called The Bam. Wow! This was delicious ? I recommend that for sure. They have great steaks, but my favorite is the quesadilla and the Fajitas. This is a nice restaurant to go on a date, meet up with the family, or watch a game at the bar.

I wrote a review a few weeks ago about our experience which was not a good one since we did not get served at all after waiting on the patio for 40-45 minutes. After writing the review I did receive a reply from who I assume is the owner (Nicole). She offered her apologies and offered her email so I could email her directly. When I did just that about 2 weeks ago, I never received a reply. I did take my family to Codys for easter (6 of us), we sat inside, and the service was ok except we did have to ask another server to get our server so we could order. we ordered appetizers and we also asked for a chip refill, and we didn't get it until after our food was there. My brother got the bacon burger with the onion ring on it and there was NO bacon on it. My sister n law got the steak Medium, and it was brought rare. it was so thick (which isn't bad) they didn't cook it to medium... it was sent back, and they brought back the same steak, and it was still rare. She just didn't eat anything that day but her sweet potato. we let the manager on duty know and he did take the bacon off the bill and the steak and chips but it's the principal of it all. The manager wasn't sorry, didn't offer anything as a replacement and walked off looking aggravated. It wasn't a pleasant easter. I'm writing another review now even though when I emailed after the first review when asked to and that email was never answered. So, I suppose I have to write a review to get some sort of reply.

Used to absolutely love going to the Tampa Cody’s, sitting at the bar, having a couple of beers and enjoying a salad, steak and baked potato….sad to say I won’t be going back until they tear down and replace the inside bar.Walked in a couple weeks ago and turned around immediately and walked out - I didn’t even get close enough to the bar to sit down it smelled that bad. I had noticed a couple times before this experience that the bar started to have an odd smell. My boyfriend and his friend also went in a couple weeks before and left mid-beer because they couldn’t stand the smell. Something is not right here and it needs more than just a good clean and air fresheners.I really hate even writing this review. I’m writing this in hopes that management sees it and does something. At this point, the bar needs a complete tear down and remodel.I know this can’t be the standard for this once great chain - the Cody’s in Spring Hill is great.Fingers crossed there will be changes made so we can revisit our once favorite weekend spot.
Had a birthday dinner here, and everything was great, from the wait time to the bill. The prime rib was perfect. We ordered multiple appetizers, and the server made sure we were finished before bringing our fresh dinners. (:
