It was the most expensive meal I’ve ate at the airport!!! Food was very good, service was great! Sandra was kind, gracious and nice. BUT $20 for 9 oz glass of wine…… it’s a little expensive for my opinion for a restaurant at the airport. Mushroom appetizer was delicious and bean soup was a bean soup! For 2 glass of wine and these items it shouldn’t be $70.

Great food! Great service! As alwaysI lived in Tampa for 3 yrs and Columbia is one of my favorite restaurants. When I'm in town I have to stop at Columbia for the 1905 Salas and bread pudding! I was on a short 2 day visit and tried to stop at the Columbia Restaurant in Ybor and the Columbia Cafe but the wait was too long. So happy I got to stop here while waiting for my flight back home.

Dinner in an airport is always hit or miss in my opinion. I've flown from Tampa multiple times and always see a crowd inside of Columbia. Because I had 4 hours to kill I decided to give them a try. The 2 top tables are a bit tight but overall the inside is cute. I ordered the 1/2 Cuban sandwich and 1/2 salad. The sandwich was ok but the salad was great. Next time I'll just get the whole salad. The dressing is flavorful and the veggies are crisp. I also decided to order dessert. I got the churro trio, which was a plate of rolled churros with 3 different dipping sauces (chocolate, caramel and I don't know what the 3 rd sauce was). I'm not a huge chocolate fan but if you are you will love the rich, creamy chocolate sauce. My favorite was the caramel. The red sauce I don't know what it was and couldn't figure out the flavor. The churros themselves were delicious. Covered in cinnamon sugar, hot and had a little crisp on the outside. Columbia will be on my list to stop when leaving Tampa from on.

The food was ok I had the Cuban sandwich the bread was really thick not the kind of Cuban sandwich bread I am used to. The service to be honest was very slow took a while to get our drinks and to get refills was constantly pestering the waiter for attention. The ambiance was nothing special the bar looks nice but it is very cramped feel and the tables are somewhat small if you sit at a two top. The sangria I had was really bad. Ended up getting a beer to wash the taste away. The main Columbia restaurant is much better than the airport one.

I was amazed at how good the airport location was. The half and half soup and salad was large serving size. All tasted fresh. My husband got the Spanish Bean Soup which was also very flavorful!

Their famous salad is phenomenal and the Cuban to top it off. It’s in an open air airport…so in spite of that, the atmosphere is not bad…but not great either. But when you’re in an airport, what is. Next time in the airport or Tampa in general…gonna go again. It’s more than worth it.

Staff is friendly and EFFICIENT! They get the job done and done right with a smile. This might be one the of the best bloods I've had is awhile. I got the half n half... which is basically a whole Sammie with a soup/salad, Prices are good food is great and gets the job done to catch the next flight!

The only thing that could make it better would be: not being in the airport but we were sure glad it was.

The food is bland and dry.I ordered the eggplant and my wife got the half Cuban and house salad. The eggplant was unseasoned. After cracking salt all over it it was decent. My wife’s on the other hand was bad. The Cuban tasted like cardboard with dry deli meat. The salad tasted like it was dressed in oil, and neither of us understood why it’s “famous.”Maybe it was an off night. I’ve been to the other Columbia and this location didn’t reflect the brand well in my opinion. I left wishing we would have gotten a sub.The server was very sweet! And the vibe is nice especially if you want to escape sitting at your gate.

What a disappointment! The place was empty, and the attendant directed us to a two-seater table in the hallway. We had two backpacks and another bag, and there wasn´t place to put our luggage except where people were passing by. We asked to change tables, and the waitress was not happy. After that, we waited fifteen minutes for someone to assist us. The waiters walked past us and didn't acknowledge our presence. Nobody came to help. We decided to get up and leave. I believe they have earned enough money. Don't waste your money there. Just ahead, there is a place that sells wonderful sandwiches.

$22.50 for a prosecco$23.50 for a mimosa (with a splash of OJ - less alcohol)Ridiculous. Never again.Love The Columbia. Had a fantastic dinner plus flamenco last night. Great service, food and entertainment. But the airport location, although beautiful, is ridiculously expensive.

Very nice atmosphere. Great staff. Was looking forward to the chorizo but it was left in the skin and so hard you couldn't cut into it. Disappointing.
