Council Oak Steaks & Seafood (in Seminole Hard Rock Tampa)

Great first time experience! The steaks were prepared perfectly and the staff was very friendly. Great service !

Love the lobster Mac and cheese, bread basket, and steak here! Had their house salad last time and it was surprisingly AMAZING too and not expensive (the salad, everything else is $$$). Oh and their smoked old fashion- the absolute best you’ll ever have!
The crab cakes were good but not to die for.
Great spot for a nice dinner.
****update: went back and sat in the lounge, Wyatt and Anastasia were NOT very good servers, it was disappointing. It’s actually the second or third time we eat in the lounge and service is never as good as in the actual dining room area, i’d try to avoid the lounge if you actually want good service.

Service was phenomenal, food was delicious and ambiance was lovely. We loved the open kitchen and attentiveness to detail! Thank you for all of your hard work.

my honest review is this hundred dollar brunch is basically the same brunch you got pre-Covid for $60 crab legs, desserts, and brunch items. They were all top rate by the way. I saw the video on social media. It probably was just me but I thought made to order steak was included. It is not. It’s a separate charge although it’s not real expensive FYI, but that was probably just my assumption. Also, it’s very smoky from the casino. The chairs could use a makeover as well. A lot of scuffs on the furniture. Our server was awesome. He was training someone it took quite a while to get our check . We will probably go back. It’s a very tight space. we decided to celebrate Father’s Day a week early seeing as though they were booked for next week. my husband and my daughter loved it as well. The coffee was great. My husband said the pancakes were OK but the French toast with peaches and cream was enjoyable the prime rib and the dessert selection was great. The crab was awesome.

Matthew C was amazing ! He did a wonderful job. Food was cooked to perfection. We loved celebrating a birthday here !!!!!

Excellent food and service

I could not have asked for more sensational start to my summer break. Our waiter, Matthew C., went above and beyond to ensure that our evening was exceptional. Not only was our dinner extraordinary (the bone marrow, bone in ribeye, and king crab legs were top notch, mind you), but our waiter, Matthew C., anticipated our every need before we even had to ask. We can’t wait to come back and we will be personally requesting that Matthew C. be our waiter again. This young man exemplifies the definition of fine dining customer service! He deserves recognition and a raise.

The food was pretty decent. I took my best friend here to celebrate her birthday, and she really liked her steamed lobster entrée. My steak was alright, and I have to say, the sweet bread was amazing!

Our anniversary dinner at Council Oak was awesome! Anthony, our waiter, was fantastic – super attentive and friendly, gave great recommendations. I started with a raspberry cocktail and then oysters Rockefeller, which were good but not mind-blowing. I got the 4oz Wagyu strip – so tender and juicy, you could cut it with a butter knife! My husband had the dry-aged lamb chops, and loved them. We shared the garlic mashed potatoes, lobster mac & cheese, and creamed corn & bacon; that corn was amazing with the garlic mashed potatoes. And of course, we had the butter cake – delicious! Everything was perfect. The place was beautiful. We totally recommend it and will definitely go back.

Steak and lobster cold then remake it and same results.. bread and drink were good. Disappointing… go to Ruth Chris

Nicole was our waiter and met all our needs. She was able to offer recommendations and kept the flow of food. We got to meet our Chef, Luis Perez who made us such delicious food. Great time overall and will return again soon!

Great atmosphere! The Lobster Bisque is so good with lobster chunks. Service was good but could’ve been better. I feel like the servers had a lot of tables to handle.

Made reservations 3 weeks in advance for my Wife's birthday only to find out that my reservation was made for Hollywood Fl not Tampa! The staff and manager were extremely rude to us and said they couldn't fit us in! Extremely disappointed!
