I recently dined at Council Oak and found the atmosphere to be moderately loud, though still comfortable enough to hold a conversation. The service was average—not bad, but not exceptional either. The food was enjoyable, but not the kind of memorable dishes you’d go out of your way to have again. Toward the end of the meal, we were asked if we wanted dessert, but after declining, the check was promptly brought out. It could only be split three ways, which was a bit inconvenient, and once we paid, we were asked to leave. This felt rushed and confusing, especially since just minutes earlier we had been asked about dessert and if we wanted another drink—leaving us wondering if we would have had to eat and drink it on the go. Overall, it was a decent dining experience, but not one I’d feel compelled to return for.

Cedric provided some of the best service I’ve ever had at any restaurant ever - ask for him if you want a top tier dining experience. Steak and desert were delicious - great wine too.
Food was excellent, must have the fresh seafood tower and the steak was cooked to perfection. Recommend reservations, we didn’t have one and waited almost an hour for a table but the food and service was worth it. Our server was Cedric and he was fantastic! Will definitely return.

One of the best steakhouses in Tampa. Oysters Rockefeller and pork belly also great. Located right in the casino so you can enjoy a whole night here. The lobby entrance is impressive with a view into their dry aging and butcher space. The left dining room has a view into the large kitchen, the right dining room has live music, and the bar is beautiful with many allocated whiskies to choose from...so different spaces to enjoy for multiple visits.

Had the steak... absolutely amazing. Pricing was as expected for a higher end restaurant inside a casino. The service was spot on, our server was attentive and had great recommendations. The asparagus was a large portion and the hollandaise sauce made it even better. The brussel sprouts were cooked perfectly.

Food was very poorly cooked stake and lobster was like rubber chicken dryed out over cooked i would not recommend or co.e back and daytime manger was very rude this place is way over priced not worth it .

We ordered crab legs that came with cold butter and a steak with a baked potato. The baked potato was not completely cooked so I could not eat it.

I have always loved dinner here but we decided to try the Sunday brunch because the Rez did not have brunch last week. It was beyond disappointing. The snow crab was small and dried out so I ordered king crab for an extra $80, which I kind of planned on anyway. It was equally bad. Dry. Overcooked? I don’t know, but not good. They offered a beef melt for the table and tomato soup which we accepted but it literally came when we finished eating. It looked good but we were done, and we had been there for at least 90 min. Fruit was good. Nothing really impressive. I will be back for dinner but never again brunch. $500 plus $100 tip. I hope the Rez is open next week!

Worst birthday dinner ever. To begin with the smoke from the casino was so overpowering that it interfered with enjoying dinner. Everyone looked miserable walking around even the girl cooking was throwing the meat on the grill. Saw our waiter twice, but yet the black or Spanish gentleman who had tables next to us was constantly rounding on his customers. I ordered a margarita and never received it because it was never entered in the system. Reached out to Evan who was the guy who took the dirty plates off the table. Drink was finally brought to the table no apology from Marc in which we had a whole conversation about what type of margaritas they can make. He never entered it in the system. I ordered my drink with my salad and got my drink towards the end of my meal. Food came not even hot and meat was not medium well. We both had a few bites and asked for boxes. Didn't even want to stay for dessert and I was looking forward to the creme brulee. That's when we saw Marc again to ask for dessert. By this time I left the table and waited out in front for my husband. No manager came around to check on the customers at all. Horrible experience will NEVER come back. What a waste of $263.00. So bad I didn't even take pics of the food like I usually do. Extremely disgusted with the service. If I could've only tipped Evan I would have.
