Our server was EXCELLENT! She knows her menu and was able to explain the dishes, and rank what she thought were the best entrées. Atmosphere was city cool, kinda hipster. Prices were on the higher end and wines were too… but not eye rollingly expensive. Will def return.Parking: Valet at the door or self park.

Nothing I’ve ever been served by Chef Pierola is average, and as a frequent Edison diner the bar is set high for me. This place not about the amazing, often complex creations prepared at Edison, but more focused on simpler dishes with grilled meats and fish. Some hits and misses on my visit. The advertised wreckfish was unavailable at 7pm on a Thursday evening, but substituted black grouper was well prepared and enjoyable. Stone crab pasta was drowned in a white “alfredoesque” cream sauce and seriously wanting for stone crab. The tomato tart was meh, lost between flatbread and pizza. Ratatouille was one of the best I’ve tasted, and the Steelhead appetizer was a fantastic option to the usual salmon. The old Pach’s location is expanded and is all hard surfaces and edges, bright lights and an open kitchen. Noise levels on a Thursday evening were very high, too high for easy conversation and for many people’s enjoyment. Sitting outside is an option. Service was slow and haphazard, far from the high standard set by Edison. At this price point, and with this pedigree, I expect more.Update 2/17/24 - Many of the early glitches I experienced have been fixed and I’ve since had two very good meals, along with the usual Edison level of service. It’s still one of the louder restaurants I’ve been in when it’s busy, but when the weather allows, it’s nice to sit outside.

My tuna was fantastic, except my entire entree was cold. I'm guessing it was sitting on the counter a little while. Drinks were great, except they were out of blue cheese olives on a Saturday night at 6:30pm. Also the bar service was a little slow. The waiter was nice, however he said he was not able to split the check for a group of 8. The waiter refusal to split checks was a little frustrating. The donuts were AMAZING!!!!!! If anything I would go for donuts or cocktails. And I would order the tuna again.Parking: Free valet

My parents took me, my boyfriend and brother to eat dinner here last week and the service, atmosphere and food is impeccable. The server was very professional, the open kitchen let us see the chefs work very fluidly, and even the bartender checked in to make sure our drinks were up to our standard.Starters, Mains, Desserts and Drinks were all wonderful. What we ordered: appetizers* yellowfin tuna tartare, octopus, sourdough. mains* ricotta ravioli, scallops, yellowtail snapper, rib eye steak, chicken frites. desserts* brownie, creme brulee cobbler. drinks* old fashion(my brother enjoyed), Miami spice mocktail(my mom and I enjoyed).I recommend everything listed above!Dietary restrictions: One of the first things the server asks about is any dietary restrictions to communicate with the chefs.

Food was fine. We sat outside the table was fine. The girl who waited on us was great. The problem started when we went to get our car evidently the valet feels it's ok to leave me and my wife, and a party of 3 elderly people standing there because somebody flashes a twenty dollar bill at her. Before I get a response from management (which I doubt). Everyone who comes in contact with your patrons is your responsibility. I don't care if she works for the valet company, you or someone you pay rent to hired them, the way they treat your customers is your responsibility. When even a vendor is rude to your customer you look bad. We used to enjoy going there for brunch, but this incident just ruined the whole experience.

Recently had lunch for the first time at Counter Culture. When I arrived I was warmly greeted. Patrick was our server, he was friendly and attentive. He offered some tips and suggestions for food options. My girlfriend had the burger and I had the grouper sandwich. I thought the grouper was a little unexpectedly spicy, but had a nice combination of flavors. I will probably order something else when I go back. We didn't order drinks (just water) but they do have a great selections of alcoholic choices. Parking was not a problem when we arrived but they also offer complimentary valet which is a nice touch. In addition they read my reservation comment as it was my friend's birthday and brought out some warm doughnuts with a candle, YUM! I would definitley recommend for lunch especially for great outside seating.

Good was decent but this isn’t a fine dining restaurant. I’m not sure why so many restaurants are advertising as being fine dining just because they learn how to plate correctly lol.

What a fabulous restaurant and it is consistently great each time we visit. From a complimentary scallop with our drinks and the exceptional wait staff the evening was so enjoyable. The food is memorable and leaves you wanting to return for another wonderful culinary experience.

Brunch is really good, dinner was bad. The goat cheese pasta was a small portion, and came out cold. The snapper was not good at all either. Bartender forgot to put our appetizers in. The cocktails were what made this a 3.
