The quality of food at Cracker Barrel continues to decline. A shame, they used to be the best family restaurant.

It's a great place with not only hot coffee but a warm welcome from the staff. But the one who makes the difference is Betty at the retail store. She has a contagious great energy That makes you feel starting your day with the right foot.

Took my 3 grandkids to lunch..ages 7, 9, 10. It was the 7 yr olds Birthday... he loves to go to Cracker Barrels for his BD. There was a family behind us who was also celebrating birthday and waiters and waitress came over to sing Happy Birthday to them... My 7YR Old excitedly told our Waitress that it was his birthday too but noone came to our table to sing him Happy Birthday.. VERY DISAPPOINTING to him and me as well..

I arrived a little earlier than my party thinking I would be seated and maybe could start with an appetizer until they get there. It was a party of eight we went around 11:45 am on a Sunday. I arrived 11:30ish. Check in with the host whom asked about the party size and ask me were they all here. I said no and was told to come back when they arrive and I could be seated. So I asked if I could be seated to look over the menu and get a drink. The host then handed me a menu and said I could look over the menu but he could get in trouble if I am seated without my entire party. Wasn’t too pleased with it but decided to stayed as we were having lunch there in remembrance of my grandmother ( it was a restaurant favorite for her). We were seated, order an appetizer and drinks but only drinks came. We put in our order and talked and reminisce on our loved ones and notice that the waiter had been to the table twice to refill drinks but no food or appetizers had arrived. We asking about our order he said the kitchen was behind but it was coming. I then asked could we have some biscuits because the kids were giving us the starving look if you have been through the 8-13 year old kids dramatics then you understand me. So after another 20 mins our food came out all at the same time only thing hot was the appetizer. The order was messed up but to be amongst family and remembering our loved ones kept us for completely letting them have it.

Ordered online and was told it would be ready at 8:05, I was a little early, I walked in with another gentleman and we waited patiently. I ask if I could please add some tartar sauce and 2 apple butter, I was told that there would be a charge for the apple butter which was fine. A young man came out and stated they were out of the pork chops so I ask what would be the substitution he gave my choices and I picked the chicken. So I waited until 8:45 before I received my food and the gentleman who came in with me was still there waiting on his. Other people came in afterwards and received their food. I only live 5 minutes away once I arrived home my shrimp was cold, my granddaughters chicken tenders were hard like they were fried twice. My husband chicken was the only thing that was hot. And no apple butter that was made sure i was charged for. I'm here all the time spend plenty of money here I have never waited 40 minutes before. I did call back and speak with the manager who was very helpful to offer me 2 free meals. I was just disappointed because I know this is mot the service I am use to at this restaurant. And restaurant was not even busy. If your going to allow ordering online maybe you should make sure the items are available. Also if you know I was going to have to wait for my order, then my other food should have waited before it was made to. I'm sorry, I had to right a poor review but I had to throw my shrimp, chicken tenders away. They were not good at all. Had to make a 6 year old little girl something to eat after 9:00pm.I know that this should and could have been rectify before my order was even handed to me. Unhappy Nana!☹️

It took 10 minutes to get waited on, and that was after I went up front to hostess who had seated me and asked what the problem was. Hostess said "we're busy ", and I pointed out customers who were seated after me had already had their order taken. Food was average once the breakfast special did arrive.

Food is good, but side dishes - especially mashed potatoes - are always cool. Don' know if they put sides on the plate and then cook main entree. Always have to tell waitress we want hot sides. Told the cashier once, and she didn't say a word.

Hard to beat Cracker Barrel.It's a traveled all over thlouise and I have eaten at multiple cracker barrels.And I have not yet to be disappointed.Breakfast is great lunch and dinner.It's all good
