There is an increasing number of "hot chicken" places around. None are better than Crossroad. While it is saucy and hot, the chicken remains crunchy, which is fairly rare. The potato wedges provide a delicious break from the heat. I always get Tampa Hot: it is definitely hot with a hint of sweetness. Drink choices are limited, but I'm not there for the drinks.
We ordered the chicken sammich and the 3 tender meal. The tenders were the size of chix breast and so good. I read the reviews of the corn ribs which didn't disappoint. I ordered pick up and it was ready in about 10.min. I would def recommend.
The chicken sandwich is great.... service is terrible but its also a small operation with like 3 people. But it takes a long time for your order to come out. And they literally NEVER have the fry basket.... which is probably the easiest thing they can have readily available. Don't customize the fries, just do regular, and then people can just sprinkle stuff on or something. Its not that hard. This place would be booming if they had proper management
