The menu has a vegan section, but several dishes that are almost always vegan were not listed there, so we asked. The waiter seemed to be confused and said that he wasn’t sure if they could cook any vegan dishes because it’s “more of a night thing.” He proceeds to bring the chef out who says that many items not listed as vegan do not have dairy (we asked about dairy because he didn’t seem to understand what ‘vegan’ means). He also tells us that the vegetable korma, LISTED UNDER THE VEGAN SECTION -HAD DAIRY. After making clear that we wanted everything without dairy, he brought out a biryani dish with some sort of sauce on the side that almost certainly had dairy yoghurt. The biryani was good, samosa was good, Chana masala was great, gobi Manchurian was ok (cauliflower was on the verge of expiring). The korma, which we asked to be made vegan, tasted bad. It had a spoiled flavor where the vegetables tasted almost sour. Given that they are serving non vegan items listed as vegan and seemed totally unfamiliar with veganism, nothing over a one star rating is warranted.

We came at 2pm on a Thursday, we were the only ones at for about 20 minutes. My husband ordered the lunch special shrimp coconut korma. He absolutely loved it and says the shrimp was cooked to profection. I had a side of fries and the chicken coconut korma. Although fries are sometimes just fries, these were very very good! The chicken korma was very delicious as well! It was honestly just right!

I'd be remiss to not mention the service. We sat at the bar and Fernando attended us, he was great! Fernando made very good Moscow mules and his overall attention was great. We really enjoyed our time eating here. Thank you!!

We had Gobi Manchurian, aloo tiki, falafel/hummus, and veg korma. Asked for in-between mild/medium spiciness. Everything was great! The place would be SO much better if lights weren’t turned up so bright. Tables and flooring actually pretty nice. Also they have an outdoor area for drinks only, which was disappointing, outdoors would have been nice to eat (but it’s too bright out there too LOL! At night anyway, when we were there).

Don’t be deterred by the ambiance (Holiday Inn chic) or the fact that they’re not fully vegan despite the name and share staff and space with typical hotel bar food…the food is delicious and flavorful!

Had the chicken Biryani, of which I've had numerous around the world. Tasty and big portion. Service was attentive, quick & efficient. Not sure why there are such negative reviews, possibly vegans review bombing because it also offers non-vegan options, as any hotel & sensible establishment should do.

Didn't have items available showed in the menu and knew this after waiting for 20 mins. Not recommended for vegetarians.

Not sure how the food is because the customer service is poor. We waited a few minutes to be atte ded to and was ignored.
The vegan restaurant is shared with Bar 700, therefore, it's not truly a vegan restaurant.

The building is located inside of Holiday Inn and can be very confusing when trying to locate it.

The atmosphere is spacious and has seating outside for one to enjoy.

Would never come back.

This is the best Indian food I've had since I was in Southern India!
It made 2 days of being at the Holiday Inn after a canceled flight like a nourishing Holiday! Yes, the restraunt isn't bells and whistles- there us a separate menu so the restraunt also serves American food favs (they also looked very good) but THIS INDIA FOOD WAS AMAZING!

For hotel food it was decent, for restaurant food it was lacking. They auto include 12% gratuity and still ask for more tip at the end. That was weird.Food was quite spicy for mild.Title says vegan but is not a vegan place.Server was great and I appreciate the service.

So the food is on the spicy side which is common for Indian food. The mild is definitely a medium to medium hot. Got the Chana Masala vegan and it was tasty and delivered within 10 minutes. Service overall was attentive. The ratings on here are not what I experienced and it was a lovely meal.

My first time here and my wow never again. The food was absolutely terrible. Will never return here again. The service was even worst. The server was in her feelings cuz I told her the food was horrible. She didn’t want to give me a refund then got mad when I ordered drinks instead. Here is the warning do not eat here it’s terrible. However the atmosphere is pretty nice. The can cokes and beers were great.

The order takes more than 30 minutes to serve. The clerk never smiled and hard to understand her English. Serve chicken tanduri with 3 slice of green pepper on the bed of onion. Who eats 5 pieces of chicken without anything to go unless you order extra sides. Never explained the menu. Requested for rice but looks like it will take another 30 minutes before I get it so had to cancel. The meal is so pricy. In fairness the chicken smells good as it is served on sizzling platter. The guy took over my order, thank goodness otherwise I will probably will not serve. Again, since am visiting the place, the following morning picked up soda from the ref, she just told me to pay at the reception with a straight face. This is hospitality industry, please assign competent and pleasant server.

I recently dined at Curry N Vegan, situated in the lobby of Holiday Inn on West Shore Blvd. The food arrived promptly, exuding warmth and sumptuous flavors. The Sambhar, though a tad spicy, added a delightful kick to the meal. The waitress was incredibly accommodating, enhancing our overall experience. A satisfying culinary adventure at this hidden gem.?
