The moment you see the Gin Joint sign you know you’re about to be transported to some other place or time. This is truly a one of kind gem located in a renovated historic building. The interior design and addition of a live jazz band add to the feeling of timelessness. Naturally, they offer all kinds of gin but they also have many lovely cocktails. I ordered the Peaches Be Crazy per our servers recommendation and it was perfect! Our group only came in for drinks so we just got a charcuterie board and the lobster dip which was a huge hit. We were only in town for the weekend and we visited several bars but this was my favorite!

The pork chops were delicious, perfect. The Mac and cheese was excellent but I missed the old menu option of lobster Mac and cheese. That needs to be added back on that menu and I did not like the new recipe for Brussel sprouts. The fried conch was tasteless but the conch chowder was very good. The rolls were divine! The Apple turnover dessert was good. The ambience is second to none. Great place to take a date. The noise level is perfect. You can talk and eat simultaneously with no problem. The singing duo was simply the best. Loved them. Soooo talented!! Lastly, the wait staff, greeters were so accommodating, excellent! This is certainly a great place to bring guests and family members visiting the Tampa area. Job well done!

Use Valet parking for easy entry. Gin Joint had a fun speak easy vibe. AJ was excellent at describing gin choices. We went with his recommendations for the gin & tonic flight. Cast iron filet was perfectly prepared. Scallops and octopus were also outstanding

The ambience of the restaurant is well thought out! The service was amazing from the greeting at the door! Nimah was a great server. Knowledgeable, kind, anticipatory of our needs. We were able to enjoy our night while she set everything up perfectly. She has such a pleasant and bubbly demeanor. From start to finish it was a great way to end our evening. It was our first time dining here. We took a day to walk the Riverwalk and stumbled on a amazing cap to our evening! We will definitely be back!

Absolutely loved the vibe and atmosphere as soon as we walked in the door! The entire meal was phenomenal- the vanilla bourbon pound cake may be my favorite dessert ever! The drinks were delicious! There was live music and they could SING!!!! Nimah was our server and she was so sweet and engaging and took great care of us!
