Marcos is amazing. The food was excellent. We ordered the penne and the veal. The sauce on the penned was out of this world. The herbs and butter sauce on the veal was superb. The house Pinot noir accompanied the food quite well.
Atmosphere was nice and romantic.
A true 5 star experience.
The only suggestion is that the penned was pricey for the amount. $28
Other than that, we really had an amazing time there.

Super cute place but food was not up to par even though it looked yummy. We did not want to complain but zero flavor and room temperature/cold noodles, ended up picking at the food and decided to bring it home to try to doctor it up for lunch tomorrow :( server hardly checked on us, won’t be returning unfortunately

Highly recommended. Go and experience it for yourself!

The restaurant is amazing, well localized, with a relaxing atmosphere at the downtown. The best part was the food, with flavors that enrich my tongue softly, and to make things better the service was exceptional and very attentive. Thank you to everyone in the staff!!!!!

Stopped by for some drinks a few weeks ago. Great staff and great vibe. Bartender was very old school and professional
Marcos is the best! Food excellent! Next visit to Tampa, we are definitely come back for a perfect meal 🍷
DeVito’s Italian Specialties is easily one of the best spots in downtown Tampa, especially if you’re heading to a show or looking for a nice dinner out. I’ve been here more than once and both visits were consistently great, which says a lot.
The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between modern elegance and classic Italian warmth. The chandelier and interior details give it that upscale feel without being stuffy. It works just as well for a date night as it does for a birthday dinner or pre-theater meal.
Food-wise, everything we tried was solid. The penne alla vodka with pancetta was creamy and flavorful, the chicken parmesan was cooked perfectly, and the tiramisu was a standout light, balanced, and not overly sweet. The cocktails are also worth mentioning. The Tito’s Cosmopolitan was made just right, and the wine selection pairs well with the menu.
Service really elevates the experience here. The staff is attentive without hovering, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely friendly. You feel taken care of, not rushed.
Pricing is reasonable for the quality, portion sizes, and location. Overall, a great Italian restaurant that delivers a consistently enjoyable experience. Definitely a go-to spot when in downtown Tampa.

The restaurant has potential, great place, great atmosphere, great service but the food is over price for the quality and the flavor.
I order chicken parm, chicken was so thin it was dry, the spaghetti was over cooked you could make pure with it and the marinara sauce had no flavor and it was watery.
The Chef is way over he’s head, and obviously has not knowledge of basic Italian cuisine.

Visited during a quick trip to Tampa for a Yankees game after hearing great things about this place.
The food was good — the bread and arancini were excellent, and the quality overall was solid, though portions were moderate for the price.
Unfortunately, the service was extremely disappointing. We waited about 25 minutes just to place our order and over an hour for our entrées. Getting water, drinks, or basic attention was very difficult. One dish arrived incorrect, and we were later told they had run out of the main ingredient hours earlier but no one informed us when we ordered. The primary server was not welcoming or friendly, and interactions felt rushed and impersonal. One staff member was pleasant but clearly overwhelmed, and the restaurant appeared seriously understaffed.
While the food was good, the service experience fell far short of expectations and does not justify the price point.

First of all, I want to congratulate the person who designed the restaurant. It truly is unique and Tampa deserves it. My friends and I had decided to visit the restaurant exactly a year ago, but due to travel and work, we hadn't had time to visit Devitos. Let me tell you, today was such a special day. We arrived 5 minutes before 5, and they greeted us so kindly. Then we ordered a bottle of Brunello Libero wine, my husband's favorite. Our waiter was so professional, friendly, and classy. His service is on another level. He recommended we try mozzarella and delicious sausage, something unique since the chef prepared it that way. Then he told us about some specials. I ordered rigatoni Bolognese, my friend ordered chicken Parmesan, and her husband ordered osso buco and was fascinated since he's half Italian. My husband ordered saltimbuca and loved it so much he practically cleaned his plate. Afterward, our waiter offered us desserts. We shared cannoli and tiramisu. Oh my God, I'm being honest, but if you try it, you'll love it. I repeat, it was a wonderful dinner, and I personally recommend it when you're in Tampa. This place, the food, the service, and the drinks will not disappoint. Note: our waiter told us his name is Marcos. Thanks to the whole team; you are doing an excellent job.

Sad they didn’t have the octopus carpaccio but still delicious.
Prices are very reasonable
$18 for a lunch portion sized penne all a vodka.
I would say it was more tomato, like a salsa de tomate.
Nice ambiance
Wine is great. House Pinot $10 a glass
I would give it another try.
