Great food here. We really like the daily menus and the pizza and smash burgers are very good also. Can’t beat the price either!

It has always a great place to eat but the system went down before I was able to pay, so I had to give my food back. The rest of the people waiting were just turned away. Military members getting turned away from chow? It was not the staff, they are always professional, it was just a glitch.

Quality food fast quality service in the middle of the base you can’t go wrong when you frequent diners, reef dining facility on base with quality food, good presentation and so much more to offer you can’t go wrong. Also, if you have a free day, go to the theater on base or the bowling alley for some reprieve time sunset at seascapes if you have young ones, have them frequent the CDC with knowledgeable, friendly, caring staff at the MacDill CDC you can’t go wrong. Your kids are safe and secure, nurturing environment and the breathtaking, beautiful scenery.

I enjoy breakfast here every morning. I have, however, had a bad experience. After waiting in line, allowing others to pass in the next line, I was told that I needed to go to the other line.
I mean, really! You saw me standing here, I could've already been through the other line. But, as others approached I figured I'd just be patient, and you don't tell me before NOW?
So, I still go there for breakfast, this was an afternoon-evening occurance and I'm really only available for breakfast now, anyway.
The only problem is, that now, one of the ones who was the problem that day, has now moved to the morning shift. So, I'm considering my options.

1 star, none of the stations are ever open. I eat here almost daily and have experienced all meal periods and they're very similar. VERY FEW of the services airmen are actually helpful/ friendly wheras the other half are straight lazy and act immensely unprofessional at work. From what it seems, leadership is never around because i've only seen SrA's and below. The civilian contractors are the only decent part about this Dfac, (they're the only ones working) The food is always leftover, sometimes even from breakfast. The only time I've ever seen more than two stations open was during reserve/guard weekends. Which is once a month. That's insane. We need more leadership present. Portions are tiny, airmen like to argue with customers, nothing is ever refilled in the salad bar, it's just sad.

Honestly a shame i really love the atmosphere of the Dfac but its
Ruined when Airmen serving me are overly nasty and treat me unkindly, Additionally for following standards portions are so incredibly small. i always feel hungry even after 3 meals a day.
coming from a different base this experience leaves me feeling unhappy. The food sometimes is really inedible too I had a burger that was completely cold and raw in the middle for some reason 7/10 times i get noodles they are hard. I am hoping that the quality improves because maybe this was all caused by the hurricane but coming home from a long shift to get treated badly and not even eat a fulfilling meal really is tragic.
