Some of the best Italian food in the Tampa Bay area! The linguini bolognese with the breaded chicken was particularly delicious. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owners Almy and Zach, and they are wonderful people :) If you’re in the area this is a must try!!

Don Rigatoni is the BEST Italian food in Tampa hands down! You can tell everything is super fresh and made with love… the pasta is INCREDIBLE! I always recommend this gem of a spot to everyone in town. 100/10 would recommend over any other place around!

The cheese ravioli and Alfredo one New York stat cheesecake that came out to $51 the ravioli was more water than ravioli the noodles were cold and plain little leg ramen noodles and the cheesecake was $10 was the worst food I ever ordered through Uber eats. Prison food is better than this place Don't do it!

Take out only
The empanadas listed on Google and DoorDash look like it’s more than one and comes with a sauce but it’s just one and no sauce.

Me and my wife were searching for food within walking distance of Hyde Park. We saw this hole in the wall on the maps. We did not realize it was takeout only so watch out. Since we walked there we just walked back and found a table in the park. Their Spinach Gnocchi is INCREDIBLE. If you love cheesy and creamy then this place will satisfy any cheese freaks craving no matter how severe. They do not skimp out. Huge portions. Fresh pasta. Extra cheesy. With great service for if you want to modify or add whatever you like. Best pasta in the area.

Don Rigatoni is clearly chef-driven, and it shows in every bite. The pasta is cooked properly, the sauces are balanced and flavorful, and each dish feels intentional. You can tell the chef understands Italian fundamentals and cares about technique, quality ingredients, and execution — rare for a fast-casual spot. Excellent comfort food done right, with consistency and real culinary skill behind it.
Highly recommended!

I love this place so much. The chef today was so sweet, I recently got braces and can’t eat chewy food, the chef cut up my chicken in small pieces so I can eat it! I come all the way from land o lakes for their food! Thank you for being here!

Ordered the gnocchi through Uber Eats, it was not edible. The gnocchi was straight dough and the Alfredo sauce was more a soup than a sauce. Will never order from here again.

The food is not homemade. And don't let them gas light you into thinking other wise, or suggesting coming to the restaurant to tour the kitchen. I did go the restaurant to see the kitchen, but conveniently the manager was not around.

I ordered the alfredo and it was a Bertolli jarred alfredo sauce, complete with the random 'green' oregano or parsley flakes. The sauce didn't even stiffen up in the fridge, just stayed liquid. The restaurant owner and employees seem to think that some of the patrons don't cook authentic Italian food, but we do. Maybe that's why we can tell that the food comes from a can. The pasta was even a bit stiff too; something you don't get if pasta is made from scratch and never allowed to dehydrate.

All in all, I would question the authenticity of this restaurants products.

I have had a few great experiences so far. An interesting thing about certain regions of Italy is the bolognese is hand cut and can include some odd shapes and cuts of meat. I have tried Massimo’ s masterclass Michelin Star recipe and it was not what I preferred.

I will say that I agree on the bold choice of prepackaged dressings. I would love to see a homemade olive and caper lemon aioli for the empanadas. A green goddess, ranch, and blue cheese as well.

I also would had that I believe your pasta water has been over salted which can affect the sauce. We need the water in the sauce but either less or maybe a tighter measurement there.

These guys are good and everyone is a critic these days 👍

I hate to leave a bad review because the lady seemed very nice, but I paid $17 for a pasta bolognese and it was inedible. Unfortunately it had no flavor and there was a huge layer of oil sitting on top.. I had to throw it away. I'm not sure about the other dishes on the menu but DEFINITELY do not get the bolognese.

Ordered from Uber. This is NOT handmade nor homemade. A 2 star at best. The sauce was clearly jarred or canned. No flavor, no spices, no love whatsoever. The salad was fresh, but the dressing was clearly not homemade. Same with the bread and empanada where NOT homemade at all. Frozen, soggy, overall.... Meg
