Unbelievably good service and the food was incredible; absolute best value for the experience

The worst house wine , the food was o-k, not bad, not amazing, I've mentioned in my reservation that it's a bday party, of course no recognition.:(

Sat in the lounge and it was amazing as always. The band was so fun, Luis our server was great as was the bar service by Camilla. We had a great night with good music, food, and drinks. We shared the homemade tortellini as an appetizer and had the oysters, both of which were great. I had one of the several options for veal, and it was very good. My wife had the black grouper with shrimp and scallops, and it was nothing short of perfect. Only Negative about this place is the prices are pretty steep on everything.

The service was impeccable and the food was excellent! Atmosphere was very welcoming and nostalgic. This is my first experience at Donatello and I would certainly recommend this place for a special night out!

We are frequent fliers at Donatello's. So we obviously love the place. This was our first negative experience in the way of food quality. (It's always loud). The Special we ordered was Fettuccini Mare a Monte and it was dull and tasteless. We tried to add some flavor with pepper and Parmesan to no avail. The shrimp were perfect on it though: the paparedilli bolognase was more ground beef in juice than the traditional bolognase we are used to. Especially for the price point. We let the waiter know how we felt. Maybe an off night. Spoke quickly to the door manager. And hopefully this was a fluke but we'll likely let Donatello's sit for a bit before we go back. The ladies at the bar were phenomenal, as always, and Fernando took care of us at the table. The food quality was the big kicker for this trip.

Wonderful dining experience. The ambience was amazing. It gives you a sense of Italy and the food is definitely worth the price. My first time being at this establishment and I guarantee you this won't be my last. I love it!

It was our anniversary. We dined early because we live 20+ miles away and we wanted to not be out late. When we arrived, our table was ready and the service was prompt. Our food was great! The appetizer was wonderful and the entrees were too! We will be sure to return again soon.

We love going to Donatello's and Opera Night is always a fun evening!! Gino and his staff are fantastic, always so welcoming and the food is fantastic. We've been coming here for 26 years and driving from Sarasota. One of our favorite Italian restaurants across the country.

Simply overpriced. I know the pasta will never taste like the original from Italy but $30 for pasta with pesto sauce no protein is insane to say the least. Servers were friendly and attentive. Place is cute. Most of the reviews are so positive we had to try them but we just did not see or feel the hype.

Absolutely lovely date night. Food was excellent, ambiance was lovely. Dark and romantic, but table lights bright enough that we didn't have any issue with difficulty seeing our menu. Service was great, food was excellent. Best calamari in the area, excellent pasta.
