This is really good authentic ramen, and the noodles are now vegan! The regular veggie and spicy veggie ramen are vegan with no modifications, and there’s also a veggie udon option, edamame, rice, miso soup (also veg), etc. Lots of good Japanese craft beers, too.
I’ve been avoiding this place for years because I know the noodles previously contained egg, but I heard through the grapevine that the supplier changed the recipe a while back, and I was able to confirm in person.

Disappointed. Noodles were undercooked and egg was, literally, cold. Cold. Maybe the noodles and egg would have been better had the broth come out hot. It was warm, not hot. And had no flavor. Best part of the ramen was the pork, which was flavorful, but had a lot of slimy fat. All this could have been addressed if the waiter has come back after delivering the food. He did not come back, not even once. So, maybe I was just unlucky, maybe my tasteless, undercooked bowl was unusual--but, with so many other places you can spend your money--why risk it?

I am very picky about my ramen. I got the Dosunco, and it was delicious. I always ask for my noodles al dente. My daughter got a kids' Dosunco ramen, and we added meat and tofu. They have really cool Japanese vending machines— my daughter loved them! This may sound weird to comment on, but the drinking water was super clean and filtered well. Very friendly service! This is my new favorite ramen spot!!

This is my most favorite place to eat in all of Tampa and the best ramen and gyoza I've ever had anywhere.
I always get their shoyu ramen and often get either extra pork or bamboo when I'm extra hungry. Everyone is always so nice here and the atmosphere is always a very relaxing, but engaging place to eat.
I highly recommend their gyoza, shoyu ramen, mochi, and their very cool gacha machines. There's also a cute place outside to eat on especially nice nights!
