Not only the pizza was great (flavourful and rich) the service was top notch. The owner really cares about customer service, offered us complimentary water on a hot day, and offered complimentary dessert! The staff was kind, the pizza slice is huge! Really great dining experience.

This is my favorite pizza place in Tampa. The team working are proud of their food, so they put in extra effort to make it great. The pasta is also homemade and I highly recommend trying the desserts.

This place is an authentic Italian pizzeria and it’s amazing! It seems to be ran by a husband-wife team and they make everything themselves and even jar and sell their sauce. The wife was so sweet, she called my three year old over and handed both of us two cannolis which were, honestly, to die for. If you want real pizza, this is the place to go. Seriously!

I don’t know what happened to this place but I would recommend the owner “Gio” (who’s a very fine, humble and elegant person) to go over his new staff manners and customer service, I used to eat there 3-4x a week when I lived on E Palm and they would give me free Sauce Jars, but today I decided to go eat there again with my girlfriend and the staff was very rude and unprofessional
1. When my girlfriend asked for a Pepperoni slide a skinny individual told her “Nahh” instead of “we are currently cleaning out oven it would take a couple more minutes
2. He messed up my order (but I didn’t say anything and just ate it since It was something I liked as well so no biggie).
3. When The counter girl asked me what we got and they the same skinny guy with black hair cut me off completely told her I got “4” so she charge me incorrectly as well, which i dismissed as weird and they must be new and left them a 20% tip anyways.
4. What did it for me it’s after we were done and we cleaned our table my girlfriend asked the counter girl politely for a box to go she said exactly “They are in front of you don’t you see them” on a very aggressive tone….
Hopefully they get new, trained and more professional staff or go over with them over basic human decency, great pizza place but I don’t think I’m coming back for a while.

Last week we stopped at Due Amici Ybor on our Ybor food tour. We were greeted by the sweetest man. After we enjoyed the most delicious calzone, I inquired about his sauce, as I'm a chef with my own business Tanya's Fresh Prep. He was so kind and gave me a jar to try. Some of the best pizza I've ever had— you can tell it's homemade. My mother requested a gluten free pizza, and when I tasted it, it was absolutely delicious. Very kind staff, would visit again!
