Went for coffee stayed for lunch (Acai Bowl)

Very comfortable space and nicely decorated for the holidays. The ladies working the front were nice and the coffee as well as acai bowl were both great!

Also plenty of parking in the back!

Medina River is so much more than just a coffee shop in Tampa! I stop by weekly for their delicious açaí bowls, and their location across the street from the University of Tampa and Spartan Chiropractic makes it the perfect spot to relax. The Tampa Butta Bowl is my go-to—it’s absolutely amazing every single time. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or looking for a chill hangout spot, Medina River never disappoints!

Nice place! The coffee flight was quite delicious. Some of the food seemed a bit overpriced, such as nearly $10 for a normal sized slice of avocado toast. Ambience is relaxed with plenty of seating and nice decor.

I had an ok experience at this coffee shop. The person taking my order was nice and the coffee came out fast. The toffee muffin was delicious and I would definitely recommend. As for the coffee, I got a dirty chai tea iced and it was nothing special, very bland in flavor and lacked significance. The bathrooms at this establishment were absolutely disgusting, definitely needs to be cleaned a lot more often. The WiFi worked fast and well enough to stay to get some work done. Prices were ok I paid 8$ for a muffin and dirty chai.

The coffee was absolutely delicious. My husband got an iced s’mores latte and I got an iced dirty chai latte with cookie butter. Originally wanted the PSL but since they were out of pumpkin syrup, I asked the barista what she recommended and she said cookie butter was her current jam and because that’s typically my go-to everywhere I go, I ran with it. Love the atmosphere - super cute ambiance and decor. Looking forward to going back and trying their other stuff.

Used to be my favorite place for acai, but the acai bowls have become a hit or miss. Usually icey or melty. Very expensive for subpar food and service.

Great place for working remote!

Very underrated place. It's like a deluxe coffee shop plus a Robek's, rolled into one. And the interior layout is pretty cool. Nice place to chill or work on your laptop.

This place used to be known as "Dwntwn Social", and if I understand correctly, the space was briefly shared between Dwntwn Social and Medina River Coffee. Judging by social media/their websites, it doesn't look like they were the same company though, so I'm not sure what happened to Dwntwn Social. I'm guessing Dwntwn Social must have gone out of business and sold the entire space to Medina River Coffee..? Still a great place!

Just dropped in while car serviced nearby and had a rare surprise delight. Roomy place for older bldng coffeehouse. Spartan functional yet comfortable seating. I order an unusual special coffee about which they pleasantly made after asking the right, thoughtful questions. It was top end tasting at 66 % of usual price. But the best is the abundance of what I miss most: professionally polite, conversational not intrusive conversational staff that is 100% devoid of usual maryjane stogie smoking, no social skills suspected brain damage zero empathy help we've too well gotten accustomed to. Id venture speculation these guys might be pretty sharp if further social interaction endeavored. Thanks Medina River Roasters staff for uplifting service excellence standards as well as my opinion of the general working people that we celebrate on Labor Day. Triple gratitude to person loaning me a pen after witnessing mine run out of ink. I'll be back and will bring people. Nice!
