sushi and service here is better than most. The food was tasty. The service was very kind and attentive. The prices are well within reason for the quality.

The prices are amazing during their happy hour and not only that, the portions are SO MUCH. Trust me, you'll be full by the end of it. We've been here a couple of times already and leave satisfied every time. Today we had Ellie serving us and she was awesome. She had drink recommendations along with food recommendations. She was very attentive and on point. I've been telling many people about this place and recommend it to everyone.

Was looking for a sushi place that was open late and came across this place. It's in a hotel area but still was really good. They serve sushi and other Asian cuisine here as well as traditional American fares like New York Steak. Besides the food my server was really cool and super cute. She also had her music playing in the restaurant which was all the music I listened to in high school. I ordered a virgin Strawberry Daquiri with chicken Udon soup, yellowtail nigiri, and a sushi roll. It was really delicious. The way they had their chicken was a little different, but still good nonetheless. There weren't any veggies in it which made me a tiny bit sad. The sushi roll was really good though. It had fried shrimp inside and was topped with salmon. The nigiri was also really yummy too. Would definitely recommend coming here. They're open until midnight.

I arrived in Tampa very late at night (11:30 pm) and this was one of few restaurants that was still making food available for delivery. I'm glad I had the chance to try this place! I ordered the miso soup, gyoza, and rainbow roll. Miso soup was tasty and contained a lot of seaweed like I enjoy. The gyoza was good but I wish had been a bit crispier on the outside. Also the gyoza sauce wasn't packed well and spilled inside the bag and got all over the containers. Made for a messy experience for me since I was in a hotel and had to eat from the containers. The rainbow roll was the least impressive thing I ordered. It tasted fine but the quality (freshness) of the fish was a little below average for sushi restaurants. Overall, I'm glad I ordered from here because it was much better than pizza or Taco Bell (the other choices I had for delivery) and glad they offer late night eats.

East is a great place to come and unwind after whatever it is you did but before you go back to your hotel room. Great service, good atmosphere, Chrissy our bartender, was amazing. 5/5.

The food was fine, the prices were really good, but for Japanese food, there weren't many dishes with a lot of vegetables and the sauces were more like "dipping" sauces - strong and spicy--than the delicate Japanese seasoning I like better. Actually, pretty much what I should have expected from the fusion of "Japanese" and "bar & grill." I can't speak to the sushi, since I didn't have it.

We sampled 6 different apps and 2 of the specialty rolls. All were fantastic! Ask the friendly wait person what their favorite items are, you won't be disappointed!

This little place is hidden away in the Quality Inn property. They have a great selection of Sushi and Japanese inspired specialties along with limited Western fare (burgers, steaks). The prices are very reasonable and down right inexpensive during happy hour. It is well worth the stop!
