I bought breakfast a egg,ham and cheese sandwich but was to salty
I’m greatly disappointed. I came here the other day and ordered a bread pudding for a dinner party, it was overcooked, dry, and just underwhelming overall. I decided to give the place another try today during my lunch break. I placed my order 20 minutes in advance, yet when I arrived, it still wasn’t prepared and I ended up having to wait. If you’re on a time crunch or looking for consistency, I would suggest going elsewhere.
Ordered a Media Noche and Guava w/ Quesito Togo. Finished both before I made it home
Stopped in for some fresh bread, baked goods, and a cafe con leche. Everything was delicious and very reasonably priced!
I felt like I was back in Puerto Rico. Great atmosphere, clean and presentable. For sure I be back.

Went in for a Medianoche, simple recipe: sweet bread roll, mayonnaise, mustard, sliced cooked ham, sliced fully cooked pork, sliced Swiss cheese, dill pickle slices, melted butter. INSTEAD I got an atrocious abomination of a LETTUCE AND TOMATO cause "that's how we do it in here" when in their menu DOES NOT SAY SO. Politely asked for my sandwich to be remade and the cashier immediately caught an attitude and said I needed to pay for a new sandwich cause now they had to throw the messed up one away. INSANELY BAD SERVICE.
Also, side note, your quesitos SUCK, put some cheese in that damn thing!

El Coqui Bakery in Tampa truly delivers jamón, queso y huevo, the real deal! Their sandwiches are expertly crafted with high-quality ingredients that transport you straight to the island. The friendly service and the owner’s personal touch coming out and asking how is the sandwich made my visit special. Don’t miss out on this delightful experience!
