Terrible experience from start to finish. The cashier was unprofessional — constantly disappearing to use the bathroom and even stepped away to make a phone call while customers were waiting. The service was slow and disorganized. The food was equally disappointing; it didn’t taste authentic, and the pupusas were some of the worst I’ve had. Definitely not worth the visit or the money.

The food is great but the service is bad you have to wait more than 20 min. So they can take your order and more than 40 min. To give you the food and 20 more min. For the check

El Manjar has great Salvadorian food. The place is small “a hole in a wall”, service if you eat there is very slow because they actually cook/prepare the food. The pupusas are the very tasty w the cole slaw which is somewhat hot. A place to visit and try but be ready to wait if you choose a weekend.

Came here as my favorite pupusa place was closed. El Manjar is not the most fancy place but food will not disappoint! My pupusas were delicious 😋 A hidden gem.

Small authentic restaurant with very good food. Hard to find pupusas and even less common to see baleadas.

I have looked around for a while for an authentic Salvadoran pupusa spot. THIS IS IT! Very mom and pop small business style with excellent food and kind people. They can take some time to make the food but as it should it’s authentic home made. I typically call ahead and pick up my food.

I waited 40 minutes for food! The waitress didn’t even bring my drink! She forgot about it! Small place so it seemed packed but truly it wasn’t enough to forget my drink and not forget anybody’s drink including, the people that came after me. Even the people after me got their food! I will not ever come there again food mediocre!just sharing my experience.

There aren’t that many options for Salvadorian food in Tampa. This place is good for a casual lunch and very inexpensive, considering the prices nowadays. The pupusa Loca was very good.
