I was expecting great food from this place far as me being a former chef for 15 year as I place my order to get my food I sat down start eating my chicken to notice that it was raw. I am mediately spit it out. Went to talk to the owner or who was the owner I don’t know he even took a leg out to check it herself told me it’s fine anytime you see blood or the chicken is super rubbery that chicken is not thoroughly cooked all the way I will say I will never come back to this establishment. this will be my last time eating here, don’t recommend this place to nobody if you wanna feel sick not once did he remove the tray of chicken so that tells me he don’t care about customers feedback about food that’s raw

Always great family atmosphere. The food and customer service divine. The music, the karaokes. If you are looking for that Puerto Rican chinchorreo atmosphere El Quijote in Tampa FL is the place. If you are looking for those delicious fritters and mofongo this is the place. Issy the owner, her brother Claudio and family and employees will make you feel like family and on the Island. Completely and totally with respect and professionalism. After going and sharing and getting to know them and other clients you will realize that you will want to return. Don't forget to eat a delicious alcapurria, seafood salads, mofongo and don't forget to drink a delicious frozen sangria or passion fruit from Gasolina. The beers are very cold as are the juices and soft drinks. Me and my family had not been able to go for almost a year due to all the things that are happening including Covid. We decided to go tonight and how divine it was to go and come back and feel that family warmth when they welcomed us upon arrival. I sang karaoke with Claudio, danced and shared with several people I had met before, regular clients and new ones I met. Wowwwww the truth is that we needed it and from now on we will definitely return again and more often. THE BEST THING IS THE RULES REGARDING COVID. DON'T FORGET YOUR MASK YOU WILL BE RESPECTED. This bar is such a disturbance. We live over a mile away and their music rattles our windows until 2am in the morning on most weekends. I’ve called and asked them to please turn it down a bit and they just hang up. So rude and disrespectful to the neighborhood they are located in.
