Was in the area i live in Sarasota but i always went to different cuban pizza places this place happened to be close to me and the reviews were beautiful so i came to El Recreo , i was pleased when I pulled up to be surrounded by beautiful green trees in this concrete jungle. My husband and i ordered, one chorizo pizza, a pepperoni pizza, a spaghetti a mango smoothie. I am always unimpressed by Cuban food in this area but…. Everything was perfect wow I will definitely be back

Very, very delicious food, it's my first time here, I came because of the TikTok posts and we loved the menu, I brought pizzas for the grandchildren, a small but very cozy place, I recommend it 100%

Fritas are great, and big size. The temale however was horrible very hard and no meat. Will return for the frita but never again with that temale.
