Zero stars! I ordered some Mexican eggs and apart from the fact that it took 25 minutes because according to what they just opened the restaurant... they gave me more vegetables than eggs. The lady is walking ?... but you can hear the gossip from the kitchen to the table... I don't. I recommend!! Avoid the bad time!!

Terrible service, they brought me the food first and then the coffee last? And with the spoon inside the coffee glass? And I couldn't see her why was she covered in coffee? And the coffee was boiling, couldn't you drink it? And the women walk around with a tired, stressed face and no desire to serve the client well.

I was craving a nice Mexican breakfast and my favorite thing to have is some enchiladas Al Pastor with two over medium eggs, a bowl of Menudo, and a nice cup of coffee. The “chef” only made chicken or cheese enchiladas, and would not make them Al Pastor even though they had it on the menu, and I said, I’d pay whatever they’d like. Instead. I decided to order some Chilaquiles with chorizo and two eggs over medium on top. I sent the eggs back twice because they were over cooked and over hard when the eggs came back, they weren’t even over easy. It was completely raw whites and the yellow was barely glossed over the guacamole, was super heavy on the lime, tomatoes, onions, and everything else other than avocado, my advice to the restaurant is if you can’t cook an egg properly do not put breakfast on your menu. This place was absolutely awful. I paid $25 because I had a special request,” eggs on chilaquiles”, I left no tip which I have NEVER done in my life before. I can’t emphasize enough stay away from this place there’s a reason there’s three stars on here. It was absolutely awful. I’m going to another restaurant now to see if I can satisfy my craving for good Mexican food.

Food was great and very generous portion. But the chips were old, hard and dry.

Service here is a little too slow, and food was not that great. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Simply delicioso!! I'm really picky when it comes to Mexican food but this place does not disappoint. Very flavorful and traditional food. I'm from out of town so when I come visit I make sure to have a meal here before I go. The meat is always cooked and seasoned to perfection and it's well priced. Also they have agua de horchata which many places don't anymore. There's a parking lot and a few shops on the same plaza including a Mexican store with awesome desserts for after you eat :)

Menudo was fabulous! Will definitely come back to try other things.

El Rey De Oros has become my girlfriend and I's go-to Mexican place. Most other Mexican places around here don't appeal to me, but when I eat here, I'm always satisfied. Compared to other places I've seen, the prices here are pretty good, and their beef is amazing. The chicken and the chips with salsa are okay, not bad, just not awe-inspiring. Their food is amazing no matter what I get and I go there almost once every other week like clockwork for my fix. The atmosphere is okay, most of the women working there don't seem too friendly, but there are a couple of gems. I'd recommend going here for anyone interested in proper Mexican cuisine!
