Best cheese steak I've ever had. Perfect blend of meat, cheese and peppers and onions and they don't cheap on the meat. Lots of it. The potato salad was really good. The service at Ellie's is excellent as well. Highly recommended!

It's possibly my favorite French toast anywhere. Service at Ellie's is top-notch. Typically, orders are up between 3 and 8 minutes, yes.. sometimes less than 5 minutes. Stop in more than once, and the staff will get to know you and your order well. Breakfast at Ellie's is the best part of my weekends.

I ordered a simple Bacon, Egg, Cheese Sandwich on Raisin Bread. Juicy, meaty cooked to perfection & the price isn't bad.They are so professional. I saw a steak & cheese on my way out that looked like real steak. Gotta try & I'll let you know.Meantime head over to Ellis's on Racetrack Rd.??

This is our go to place in the Westchase area of Tampa when we are down for the winter.it is a family owned place with waitresses who have worked there for years. Simple food, lots of it, tastes good and the service is fantastic. This winter we’ve noticed the food and its preparation is better than last year. Nothing fancy but clean, reliable, good food served by friendly folks. What more can you ask?

I don’t understand why everyone says this place is so great. I’ve tried it twice now for breakfast and once I ordered the Philly for lunch (take out). The food is tasteless, just bland. And service meh! The vegetarian omelet had no seasoning whatsoever, not even salt and pepper. We all know salting things after the fact isn’t the same as when you cook with salt or seasoning. And the service in the early morning around 8a during the week, slow. The waitresses seem to favor the locals who walk in - mostly older men. The food is much tastier at Cracker Barrel or First Watch, and there is nothing that makes this place stand out except gyro meat. The Philly steak and cheeses are also bland; no seasoning. We’ve given this place enough tries. Oh and I used a debit card and my bill ended up being more than the original receipt. The two copies differed. What’s up with that?
