The food is fairly good, but wildly overpriced. We got the half plate with all 4 meats and it was 49. Ribs, brisket, and pork were tasty. The chicken had a texture we found unpleasant, but that was personal preference. We wanted to try the sauces and there was a .75 charge for each one which seems nuts at a BBQ restaurant. Not to mention all the meat came pre-sauced, why? The pickles veggies were yummy, the au grautin potatoes were underseasoned. Just potatoes with a huge glop of cheese sitting in a pool of seperated fat. Some of the better bbq we have had in tampa, but not at the current prices.
We've driven past this place so many times, and finally made a point to come in. The doors opened at 11a for lunch on Saturday, and we were the only ones in there for a while. The atmosphere in the bar area seems like a great place to chill at night with friends... but definitely in the daytime, too. When we sat down, our server brought us a small carafe of ice water, and it had mint leaves in it. I'm sure you could request plain water, but I liked the hint of mint.We ordered the half-meat platter, and two sides. For two adults and two kids, we were full after. There were a few roasted veggies on the platter, which gave a little variety, too. I'm usually a big fan of mac n cheese, but I'm sorry to say that it wasn't my favorite - creamy, but I think it had too many flavors going on, hard to decipher - lots of people love it, just not me. I did like the baked beans though, they had a good bbq flavor. For $50, I don't know if the price was a good deal, but it was tasty and fed us all... so I felt it was decent.I like that you can try samples of the different sauces...for 75 cents each. And everyone has different preferences, so I won't say much, except the mango one was good with the chicken and the Dr. Pepper one was really sweet, but I liked it on the brisket (my husband disagreed, he liked their mop sauce)... but again, at 75c to try, you can pick a few. They have a fully stocked bar, and a nice outside area, so I imagine this place is hopping on a weekend night. If you want to try them out, I would suggest lunchtime, when it's not as crowded.Overall, the food was very good, as other reviews will tell you - and I am pretty sure we will be back if we find ourselves on that side of town again.
I wanted to meet girlfriends for dinner and cocktails. I called first and asked about HHour specials. We went only to find out their are two different companies running it. If you want to sit outside there are no happy hour specials. The drink prices were OK, but not what I was told on the phone. And if you order food it comes from the other business, so you get 2 different checks! I ordered pork and it was very tough and hard to cut. It needed a steak knife to cut through it. I was hungry so ate it! My friends shared a seafood dish and liked it. Strange for the seafood to be better at a BBQ place! All in all it was OK once we got over the confusion.
Hands down the WORST meal I've had in Tampa! I had high hopes for this place based on the menu, reviews and how crowded the parking lot always was. The BBQ Brisket Tacos were a complete disaster with very little meat and literally drenched in bbq sauce. The 1/2 lb Burger was just as terrible with most of the meat being left over chunks of chewy/fatty pieces. The only edible part of the burger was sadly the bun and bacon it came with. The 2 stars are for the service and the roasted potato salad. Don't buy into the hype or be fooled by the reviews and crowded parking lot.
This was one of my favorite lunch places already. A little pricey, but worth it.They recently added a lunch menu that adds a ton of value!!Definitely worth it!They bring you water with fruit, and mint, and no bottle is ever the same. Refreshing, and tasty! They have prime rib on Friday evenings, and that is on my to do list with my wife!!I am always pleased to see David at the bar at lunch time. Very friendly, and a wonderful representative for the restaurant!!
Last minute plans but we’ll worth it. The atmosphere and FOOD oh my gosh “THE FOOD” was excellent wish we could have tried everything. We order the brisket and chicken should have gotten the platter.
The 1/2 meat plater was more than enough for me and my wife, the ribs were fall off the bone and everything else just tore apart with a fork. The potatoes were some of the best I've ever had, I highly recommend getting those as a side.
BBQ was delicious - we had ribs, pork, brisket & chicken. Much of the menu included a family style but they also had single dishes too. Highly recommend this place.
Would give it a 5 but the liquor and wine selections were very limited. The food is delicious and plentiful.
Meat board, and Mac and cheese are a must! Great food, and atmosphere. Love the fancy water with mint, lemon, raspberry and cucumber

I loved every bite! The Variety of meats each had satisfying fresh flavors of their own!The Mac N Cheese best around! Everything is prepped with love over time and served to please. Comfortable vibes, indoor and outdoor seating along with bar seating. Versatile setting for a casual business meeting, date or fancy night out. Staff was amazing VERY CLEAN SETTING!
Stopped by for Sunday brunch after church. Excellent food. Reasonesably priced. Looking forward to another visit.
Very nice place. Try brisket over there. It is really delicious!
No one wearing masks 7/30/21, staff or customers. Smoked meats tender & flavorful. $9 mango salad with feta a little sparse for the price. They put citrus slices in the table water carafe. We dined outside near front door & parking lot, very nice. Great service friendly staff.
Absolutely amazing food! The chef is always creating new authentic dishes that will blow your mind! You have to try the wing skewers with the wasabi dipping sauce. ❤️
