The food is fairly good, but wildly overpriced. We got the half plate with all 4 meats and it was 49. Ribs, brisket, and pork were tasty. The chicken had a texture we found unpleasant, but that was personal preference. We wanted to try the sauces and there was a .75 charge for each one which seems nuts at a BBQ restaurant. Not to mention all the meat came pre-sauced, why? The pickles veggies were yummy, the au grautin potatoes were underseasoned. Just potatoes with a huge glop...
We've driven past this place so many times, and finally made a point to come in. The doors opened at 11a for lunch on Saturday, and we were the only ones in there for a while. I wanted to meet girlfriends for dinner and cocktails. I called first and asked about HHour specials. We went only to find out their are two different companies running it. If you want to sit outside there are no happy hour specials. The drink prices were OK, but not what I was told on the phone. And if you order food it comes from the other business, so you get 2 different checks! I ordered pork and it was very tough and hard to cut. It needed a steak knife to cut through it....
